Just doing a snap poll of cage users for my own personal research. To satisfy MP (who will probably ask me if I don't say now) I use all of the above (because I multiboot) except A N Other and Apple Mac (although I did use Macs at Sheff Uni which for some reason prefers them). The Linux I use is Mandriva Linux 2005 Limited Edition.

To satisfy MP (who will probably ask me if I don't say now) As if I would........... ;D I can't vote as like you I use more than on OS. Still use ME on my main machine at home and XP Home on the laptop. Use a combination of XP Pro, Win 98, 2000 and DOS at work. On my previous PC at home I used to multi-boot between Win 3.1, 98 and Linux (Suse). Never got very far with the Linux though - had trouble with the video drivers and when I changed system I didn't install it again as I just don't have the time to get to grips with it. P.S. I'll vote for 98ME seeing as that is the one I use most at home. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Mac OSX 10.4.2 Tiger for me Preferred by the publishing world, so thats my reasoning. Plus my Powerbook is one sexy looking machine. A better survey would be how many windows users actually paid for their operating system ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

My beautiful iMac at home has OS X - Macs all the way for me -I have a luvverley Mac and a stinky PC at work - wouldn't allow a PC over the threshold at home though ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) One day more people will realise the true power and beauty (not to mention stability!) of the Mac and Bill's empire will crumble ...well, I can dream? ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

This should be enough to put off anyone from using windows ![](http://www.ritilan.com/archives/images/2005/01/17/011705-bill-gates-strikes-a-pose.png) Almost pronographic
