Who has a favourite, where is it, and what gets served?
We went to Memsaab last night, on Maid Marion Way, it was great
Serves Indian food
I also like Red Hot Buffet - Bottom of Goose Gate (Hockley) serves, Chines, Indian, Thai and Italian.

Nosh in Arnold - Chinese - yum! City Centre? The Turkish place near Cornerhouse (Antallya?) does v nice food. Or, after a night on the beers, you can't beat the Mogal E Azam near the Theatre Royal - great Indian food, but shakes a lot now the trams go past it

Harts, off the Ropewalk.
Best restaurant in Nottingham for about 3 years, and not as expensive as you'd think.

Dionysos (sp?) in Arnolds good - great food (mainly greek) and atmosphere, they teach greek dancing some nights!
Antibo's in Nottingham was also a great place for food and service - though don't let them force you in to the side orders we had loads of garlic bread and salad and none of us could eat it all!!
I also like Pizza Express in Hockley and Queens Street (I think) v- yummy pizzas and various pasta dishes with a nice chilled atmosphere!
I don't eat out that often or anything but these are places I've been in the past and really liked...

Vision on parliament street near the old Coop is quality. Soho in Hockley also does very good food.
Chutney Jacks (used to be the old Maid Marian cafe) is very good for a curry and very good value for money.
The Balti House on heatcote street also rounds off a good night on the beers.,

So many to choose from...
The best curry I've ever had has been at Bombay Nights on Aspley Lane. It's expensive for a curry, but the food is sensational.
For Chinese it has to be the Pagoda, as much Crispy Duck as you can eat!!
I'm also a big fan of The Red Hot Buffet Shack, it's great value for money.
Pizza Savai is also very good and quite cheap as well.

I always like the American Diner down Castle Marina. Very nice steaks and burgers there.

I used to like Margaritas on Mansfield road. Sadly, it's now been turned into a nail bar.

Cheese and Bacon Burger at the Maypole on Wilford Lane has always served me well. And another "big up" (as some young people say I believe) to the Travellers Rest Mapperley Plains. As to fancy places with serviettes and stuff - fooey!!
