Does anyone else get this message when opening the Forum?
Done, but with errors on page!
Every page has a yellow triangle with an exclaimation mark in it - anyone know what this is all about?

It's been doing this for some time - and if it was to do with the upgrade then I guess most people would see the message?

Judging by how your descibe the problem you appear to be using IE... Switch to Firefox, it works way better.

Its more likely to be your own computer or your connection that is the problem Lucy. As stated you appear to be using Internet Explorer. Check your settings as a first and second clean up your computer for trash and see how you are then.

Well mines working fine. Maybe it could be down to what has been set as your Internet settings. Might be worth a look

Lucy, try double clicking the yellow triangle. This will bring up a text box with the option to display the details of the problem encountered.
Chances are that an ad is mis-configured on the page, or carries code that is not understood by your browser (Internet Explorer)

What happens if I delete temporary files? Me and 'deleting' have a bad record Nothing much - if you don't access webpages offline you won't really notice any difference. Thought I sent you a PM or email about doing it? If not I'll send you one. Mind, having seen the error report, it probably isn't the Temporary Files, but no harm in trying them as a fix anyway

Me and 'deleting' have a bad record Lucy, I think I know what your problem is. I am guessing that you have something like Norton Internet Security or some other security software loaded. If so, you may well have 'Ad blocking' enabled. If this is the case, then you will get the yellow triangle message on all pages that would normally show the Google Ad's (and others, I would guess). In this case, the Google ads are usually shown just above The Cage Forum logo, but nothing will show (and you get the error message) if the Ad blocking is switched on. In any case, this is not a problem, so don't worry about it.

10/10 Grayhead!
I have Norton Internet Security, plus something called Ad-Aware and Microsoft AntiSpyware.
So much security, but it was on the recommendation of my PC guy. But it doesn't cause a problem so will just ignore it!
