That link also suggests Shane Johnson has left Belfast for Slough.

A British number one goalie, now there's a novelty!
Any sign of a coach for the Caps yet?

Any sign of a coach for the Caps yet? My guess is that if they've not got one at this late stage, they're not going to be bringing anyone else in. Looks like Scott Neil will be coaching them. Well, he's done it before....

EXCELLENT signing by Edinburgh, I've always liked Murphy. I'll be interested to see what effect a British number one nettie has...I was advocating us signing Stevie Lyle as a first choice earlier in the summer.

Nope - he was over in Italy last season..... he was playing for Bracknell the season before - when they beat us twice in a row....

sorry mate I thought of Steve Briere No worries.... hell, it's easy enough to get them all mixed up - just how many 'Steve' netminders have we had in this country recently?:- - Stevie Lyle - Stephen Murphy (forever known to GBSC as 'Szuper Stepan Murphy' after Hungary 2005! ;D) - Steve Briere - and now Steven Fone, Coventry backup.... (and didn't Nottingham's Stephen Ellis stand in as Panthers back-up a couple of times?) Too many Steves.....
