Can anyone tell me if under 18s are allowed in thesausage bar tomorrow night. Children can go as long as you have booked your ticket with the Supporters Club as it is a Ticket only event as numbers are limited.

As above really, all kids must be accompanied by an adult and on the list.

It is the whole place, Sausage won't be open to general public AFAIK. That's why it is on a Tuesday.

But if the numbers reach capacity before you get there (300) then you will be turned away. That is why the NPSC wanted names before hand. To be honest though you should be fine mmmbop.

Just got back from the sausage bar, what a great night, what a great new coach and assistant coach! Mike said all the right things, we're going to Morzine and can't wait. I have never been so excited, expectant, and just thoroughly looking forward to this season. I for one am right behind Mike Ellis and Calle. Rod Stevens, my missus fancies him already. I spoke about Calle being fit for the new season, she said " oh don't worry, he's fit" she didn't mean stamina etc!! A question I didn't get chance to ask, who is going to put Donkey Payette where he belongs?
Come on you (MIGHTY) Panthers!!!!!!!

Was there anything intresting said? Just that a signing is expected to be made on Thursday if the paperwork goes through on time. He didnt sign Cruikshank because he didnt step up when it mattered and let too many sloppy goals in.......erm...he had alot of communication with Shaun Sutter but in the end he didnt fit into his plans................... thats about it.

It was a really good night. Mike Ellis seems very confident and certainly could talk a good game. We'll have to wait and see if he can translate that onto the ice, but I was very impressed with him. He mainly explained the way he coached and how he went about things. His criteria for bringing players to Nottingham seems very stringent, he told us that he has a 'tick box' and that he only signs players that have a 'tick' next to every playing quality, which is why we didn't re-sign Tess *spit*. Ellis said that he'd have loved to have brought Tess *spit* back, but the way he left us last time lead him to question whether or not he'd be 100% committed to the Panthers and so he decided against making an offer. We have two players who have made verbal agreements and Ellis and Moran are waiting for the contract to be signed before announcing them. He also explained about his attitudes and opinions about British players, how he hoped to help develop our current Brits and how he was a big fan of two-way contracts with EPL players. He also confirmed that James Neil would be back working with the team next season. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) Moran said that the Panthers are looking to move a weekly training session to an evening so that the senior team can work with the youngsters, though he said that they're having some difficulties in arranging this. Fixtures should be out by next week at the most. Moran admitted that the league had left it too late but confirmed that the EIHL have almost agreed a sponsorship deal which should also be announced in the next week. A very enjoyable evening all in all and I was impressed by Ellis, he really seems to want to do well so good luck to him! As a side note, the urinals in the Sausage Bar must be the weirdest I've ever seen!

Very good tonight, its nice to hear it from the horses mouth so to speak. Was nice to see where Mike Ellis is coming from. Basically outlined how he vets the players does checks on them right back to their early days, looks for players that want to play for each other, very big on the 'team' ethic. Explained why he didn't sign Dan Tessier and Curtis, actually told us after the questions etc that he now has butterflies cos he's excited and wants to get started. Was nice to see Rod Stevens who only arrived today, and to find out that it was he who actually contacted Mike about coming to Panthers which says alot for him, he's really looking forward to things. Simon Moore tells us he's been speaking to Ryan Smyr and he sounds a top bloke, who is really looking forward to coming, oh and he's heard of Andre Payette and his answer was 'no problem' although he thought that Cornish was a tough cookie! A good night with a good insight to how our Mr Ellis sees things and give him his dues he knows what he wants and he ain't going to take no crap from anyone. really looking forward to the season now just hope everything falls into place for him cos he deserves it. Well done to everyone for organising this it was great.

Ellis sounds like hes got his head screwed on
I just hope that if things don't go to plan this season people don't jump on him at the first oppertunity and want him out.
