For me you'll have to go a long way to beat the start of "Waterfront" by Simple Minds...bass note, crashing drums and then screaming guitar......mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Where the Streets Have No Name by U2, the build up in that is immense, got to be the best for me.

extended version of Pink Floyds Another Brick in the Wall
you listen to the first 1 min 20 secs and dont have a cluewhat the record is till the first distinctive sound of that tune, awesome
it has a cameo audio ( obviously ) appearance of Billy Conelly

Honourable mentions to: Can't stop - Chilis Welcome to the Jungle - G n R Enter Sandman - Metallica No Good (start the dance) - Prodigy Hitchin' a ride - Green Day ...and justice for all - Metallica Nothing Else matters - Metallica Bliss - Muse The Riverboat song - Ocean Colour Scene The kids aren't alright - The Offspring Won't get fooled again - The Who Baba o Riley - The who But the one that beats all of them has to be "Sweet Child of mine" by Guns n Roses. I remember shivers going down my spine when I actually saw them live, and they played that.
Best ending has to be "one" by metallica (You might have guessed, I kind of like rock music, but whilst having a quick check through my collection because I couldnt think off the top of my head, i discovered to my shame I actually bought "see you when i get there" by coolio (?) Oh the shame!

'Prime Mover' - by Zodiac Mindwarp. That would be an awesome intro for the Panthers to skate out to.

Oh the shame! Another good ending has to be Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd!! Just quality guitar!! Agree with all of them. Also Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, House of the Rising Sun by The Animals, I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness, Fools Gold by Stone Roses, Supersonic & Live Forever by Oasis, Pinball Wizard by The Who, Thunderstruck by AC/DC, Song 2 By Blur, War Pigs by Black Sabbath, Clocks by Coldplay, Voodoo Child/Chile by Jimi Hendrix, The Bucket by The Kings of Leon, But my all time favourite intro has to be Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin!!

at the moment it would have to be Marilyn Manson ~ The Beautiful people. But only because I've become randomly obsessed with his music recently.
I also like the beginning of HIM ~ gone with the sin! So scary!

OK, so I wouldn't class these as the best "Intro's" by far but I only have to hear the start of the first section and i'd be up for a mosh/boogie/dance! The second lot are pretty quiet for me but I love em all the same!
Feel good hit of the summer - Queens of the stone age Eleven Years - New Model Army Whitelight - New Model Army No rain - Blind Melon Du Hast - Rammstein Temple of love - Sisters of mercy Waltzinblack - The Stranglers (Gives me big goosebumps when I hear it!) Always the sun - The Stranglers Sonnet - The Verve Lucky Man - The Verve Holiday in Cambodia - Dead Kennedys Wind it up - The Prodigy
Some other ones which always make me feel squishy inside Mary's Prayer - Danny Wilson Sadness - Enigma Dance away - Roxy music Vienna - Ultravox It's my life - Talk Talk Once in a lifetime - Talking heads Empty - The Cranberries Dignity - Deacon Blue
That'll do for now but i'm sure there's loads more!

I enjoy the start to Movies by Alien Ant Farm. It starts with the first beat of the drum and kicks into the song immediatly
