As a lot of the threads are suggesting that you need to watch Panthers to be able to grace us with your opinions, I wondered what sort of fan we have posting on here.
I know that some want to go to every home game, but work or other comittments sometimes stop you - in which case consider yourself an "all home" person - but which category do you fit into.
"A fair number" is probably twice a month.
I'm sure someone will think of another category.
We are talking games you go to, not ones that you watch online or recordings of.

I'm sure someone will think of another category. All home and the occassional away would be me (not a "fair number" away I mean).

We're ST holders so all home matches - come what may, we even book our holidays around the home fixtures.
We've got family in Luton so make most Bison matches, family in hull - always make them! Shuff & the Coventry fans are a must too.
Only not made Edinburgh so far this season :-(

As a lot of the threads are suggesting that you need to watch Panthers to be able to grace us with your opinions, I wondered what sort of fan we have posting on here. Is there going to be a league table? Panthers used to have a fan of the year award ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) in their end of year presentations, do they still do that?

90-95% of home games and some away.
The last 2 years I've spent alot of time abroad but still managed more than 50% of home games.
I intend staying in the UK for a while now so most home games you'll see me about.

Panthers used to have a fan of the year award ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) in their end of year presentations, do they still do that? Notts County supporters club used to have one of those in the 80's.(No jokes please) Would you believe me if I was to say it always went to a high - profile sponsor with plenty of £££? Co-incidence? Don't make me laugh. Anyways back on topic I go to as many home games as possible, but not all as we have other commitments and interests.

I enjoyed the away games of years ago so was a home and away fan regular but times of life change. Money and commitments mean I'm a homer now.Just might get back to the 'aways' soon though.

All home games, and a fair few away... with the exception of Belfast (cost and awkward travel times) I try to visit each opposition team at least once a season, and the ones I like better more than that.

Every home game and a fair few away probably about 10 to 15 away actually, it used to be a lot more away then someone cleared off to Belfast to live and left me! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Over the past few seasons I did all home and 90% away. I season I got it down to 4 games missed. IN fact last season Some of us we did run a thing of how many games missed. there were about 5/6 people who had only missed 1.
Now my life is a changing, I do all home (Missed the Cov Cup game due to commitments) and the odd away.
I have full praise for anyone who ends up doing the entire slog, but it is an expensive hobby to do them all example:
average ticket - £13 Minimum away games - 27 Total just for away tickets - £351 (approx)
If we assume that you drive and pay 20p per mile for petrol, 3 people sharing the cost, using the as crow flies thing...
Sheffield - 31.65miles = £12.66 Coventry - 41.55miles = £16.62 Manchester - 57.12miles = £22.86 Hull - 63.23miles = £25.28 Basingstoke - 108.43miles =£43.36 Cardiff - 134.19miles = £53.68 Newcastle - 139.18miles = £55.68 Edinburgh - 221.98miles = £88.78
Belfast - 6 flights £30 each, 3 x bus tickets = £5 each, hotel 3 x £40 = 315
Travel total - £633.92
Now this figure doesn't include drinks, Food, Cup games, or Playoffs. We are still talking nearly £1000 to do all away league games a season!
