Looks like the league fixture meeting is today so hopefully the fixtures will be announced fairly soon.
Let's hope we have a few more Saturday fixtures but I am not holding my breath.

On the season ticket posts recently the club have really been pushing the “weekend” thing so I’m intrigued to see how the split goes. From a selfish POV I still wish we would have more Friday night games.

I wonder how the proposed netball side is going to affect fixtures once that league takes off.

I wonder how the proposed netball side is going to affect fixtures once that league takes off. Currently the netball superleague season is mid February to the end of June. Fixtures for the season were apparently announced this past October. If they keep their season to roughly the same months I can't see a problem other than potentially the playoff QF (assuming Panthers get there), or if games have to be rearranged in those months as a result of concerts or other events. Add to the fact that the EIHL fixture meeting should be before the NSL's so it should in theory give the Panthers 1st dibbs on dates. The NSL is also reducing from 10 to 8 teams next season. I guess we won't know for sure until until the NSl announces it's fixtures and sny potential changes if any it makes to its league structure. There's is also the possibility that the Nottingham netball team won't play all it's (7?) home games at the arena.

I think the Nottingham Forest team will play all its home games at the arena? I believe the Loughborough team may play a couple here too. I don't think there will be much of a conflict, if any, though.

One thing I did see in a write up about the Forest netball team was they were looking to develop a more diverse sporting portfolio. Maybe a call to Blackie would be in order?

www.eliteleague.co.uk/article/3929-fixtures-set-after-annual-meetingFixtures set after annual meeting The 2024/25 schedule draft has been agreed The Elite League's annual fixtures meeting took place on 4 June 2024 to put together the schedule for the 2024/25 season. For the first time, the bulk of the scheduling was done using a digital system provided by leading scheduling software experts Ligalytics. "We were tasked with looking at the option of trying digital scheduling for the coming season, and we were happy with how the first attempt worked out," explained Head of Operations Mike Hicks. "We then moved around 15 games together with the teams, but overall it was a much shorter process than before." Teams are currently finalising their home ice dates before the schedule is locked in. They will then be given a window to book travel ahead of release in the coming weeks.
