Given that we signed Matt Alfaro today and that Guildford have re-signed Matt Alvaro for the coming season, it seemed only appropriate to start the countdown clock to the now surely inevitable total carnage of the 2024/25 game reports. They can't even work out who is on which team sometimes when the names are drastically different (not too mention the ghostly return of Jeremy Welsh scoring from a different league last season) so I'm calling dibs on the first blooper featuring these two.
I'd like to think we could one day abandon the necessity of these threads but then given previous year's showings. 🙄
Let the countdown begin... (Or should that be "Wet three down counters in"?)

Well unless the editor has arrived in the past 4 days I think we'll be safe to assume normal service is resumed given your post 😅

Scott Conway is a Brit. Sorry, “homegrown”.

Homonym misuse alert. On Lemay "Nine of those goals came on the powerplay with many of them being a canon of a shot..." I suspected he had some higher power involved... At least the photos were good. While I'm on, the town is Sterzing/Vipiten o. Sterzing is the Austrian name, Vipiteno (sic) the Italian name. It's a brisk walk into Italy from the Austrian border, in the South Tyrol. Given that its population is around 7,000 one wonders how it can support a pro hockey team, but there are a few ex-UK players who have played there. Ryan Valentini's first pro job was there, for example. James Livingston played there last year.
