Confirmed by the club. Disappointed to say the least, showed incredible leadership qualities last season. Wish him all the very best with the Blaze, it’ll be interesting to see how he goes about recruiting his team in Coventry. I wonder if any of our roster last season will make the short trip down the road to the SkyDome? coventryblaze.co.uk/moore-named-blaze-head-coach/

Good luck to the fella, I hope he does well (but not too well) there. And then we can have him back when he's served his apprenticeship! 😉

Will be interesting to see how he does, and whether we've missed a trick. Good luck to him.

I’m disappointed to see him leave our club (the reasons why go without saying) however if the option was HC or leave for us then leaving is probably the right thing for us as a club.
Unproven with not a massive amount of coaching experience. I think taking the sentiment out of it people wouldn’t have been happy with a rookie coach over one with more experience in the league.
I hope he does well at blaze (but not against us) and develops well so maybe in the future he becomes an option for us if we are on the position to consider him for the HC role if we are in the need of one again.

Will be interesting to see how he does, and whether we've missed a trick. Good luck to him. Yup, If he does better than Stewart, fireworks. This will cause eruptions somewhere. Both coaches will be vying to win games between each other. What came first, the Coventry appointment or Nottingham's and I'm not talking about press releases. Who approached who etc..

Good luck to Kevin but unfortunately being a thoroughly decent human being doesn’t make you a good coach. I am much happier having a guy who knows the league inside out than a first time coach because at some point even Panthers fans will want to win. Good luck Kevin and hope it goes well down there.

Yep good luck to him, stood up as a leader in every sense of the word after the AJ tragedy when we and the team needed him most. Deserves his chance
Having said that and taking into account all that went on last season on and off the ice we weren't very good defensively all season even beore AJs passing, and the goalies were shipping in goals left right and centre at times all season too So in that context you could argue he didn't do the best of jobs in those two areas
But like I say, best of luck to him, except when playing us.

I thought he was extremely professional & eloquent during pressers last season, so I’m disappointed he’s left the club, yet as others have said, I would have been hesitant had he been appointed head coach.
Nottingham are in dire need of stability & our new coach knows the league. Good luck in Cov Kevin.

Have a listen to the Podcast on the OS with Chris & Pacha, its a good one and listen out for little nuggets of info re signings and players already tied in. sounds like Pacha approached Danny some weeks back probably before the end of the season, I know Kevin was told he would have to apply for the HC role with us and it would be a drawn out process, that sort of intimated they had other ideas and were already chasing someone. He said at Playoffs he wanted a HC role as he wasnt sure how he would feel being assistant to someone he didnt really know. Cant fault him for the way he lead this team last season and for that will always be grateful. Good Luck Kevin you deserve the chance.
