From the leagues own Twitter “ It's 100% the correct procedure for the on-ice officials to confer and confirm what their on-ice decision is, then communicate that.
In the case of Goalie Interference, that is only possible to review for a Coach's Challenge. The referees cannot review themselves.”

Someone said this on Cardiffs forum: “Apparently the goal review system wasn’t working so he couldn’t challenge it. Which would explain why Russell got so mad. Goal scored, Dman complains of netminder interference and the nearest referee agrees and washes it out. The officials then have a chat, decide to change the original decision and give the goal. Before telling Russell that he can’t challenge it because the review system isn’t working.“ Tough luck, and it was a legitimate goal anyway. To be fair, there’s no complaints amongst their fans. It’s only PR with the problem. The goal review system was working fine on the big screen…

At the end of the day it was an entertaining game, back and forth lots of goals and a very fair result. On the night Panthers were the better team and certainly seemed to want it more. Nottingham is like a graveyard to Devils, we struggle there more than anywhere else.

There are several I would be happy to see re-signed. They've done enough to show that they could be able to make a continuing meaningful contribution. And several the other way. And several I'm agnostic about. Can't get much more splintery than that.

I would be happy to retain perhaps up to 9 or 10. Considering i'd expect 2 import netminders and therefor at least 16 imports to start the season that probably feels about right.
Brits as always need to be determained first to then form the team set up. Id keep 3 or 4 of the import D. 6 or 7 of the import forwards now. 2 new netminders.

For me I’d keep:- Roy Nieminen Michaud Lunsjo Henbrant Neill 50/50 on Lemay, Ryczek, Despres. Caruso I’d imagine will retire after completing uni course. Upgrade on goalies, Welsh, Anderson, Luciani, McGurty and Pare

Looks a decent player, but he hasn't quite played with that same energy we saw in his first game. Despres I think is back on an upward trend now for me. He still looks like he's the classiest Dman in the league at his best. He's also just starting to look fitter too. With that his speed appears to be getting better.

I remember Despres got sticked in the eye when we were in Coventry just before the new year and he was out for a few games. Maybe there were some after effects from that as it seemed like his overall play dropped off but he has been impressive lately

Part of the Cardiff team core and something the Panthers need to learn ASAP Can't wait to see which players panthers retain.. going on comments here we should be looking at 6/7 imports... Maybe get yourself down to watch a game, then you wouldn’t have to refer to “going on comments here.”
