McKenzie named, and Pare also named. I see McKenzie has left Telford today, so assume he’s full time with us now. I'm struggling to see the logic of having a fully fit player on the bench who the club have just declared is full time with them, but dress him and don't give him a single shift for 3 straight games? I don't necessarily expect him to be playing 18 minutes, but the odd shift or three, surely?

The face off woes continue. 33% overall, Michaud 6 for 21. But,but I thought Pare was allegedly mustard at face offs ? Frankly, if he can win 50% for the rest of the season. I'd be happy just now. He was 4 for 9 last night, but good though he is, he can't take every face off, and I suspect his mere presence in the the black and gold won't magically galvanise the entire team. He actually won the face off that led to the 2 D men skating into each other that led to the Giants' first goal... Is there such as thing as a face off coach? If so, I'd be thinking about telling Michaud and Anderson to club together and give him a call. Both are under 40% for the season. The two worst regular* face off takers in the EIHL. (Anderson was only 43.7% last season) * total of more than 5 per GP

Who’s the current top 3 EIHL face off men ? Ben Lake's numbers must take some beating, 279 of 451 (62%). Elite League HQ could add the percentage to the stats page really.

But you can work that out.

I have no access to anything anyone on here doesn't also have. You just need to be inquisitive.
