The Blaze are a bit of an enigma - either very good or very bad. Short trip so my money is on the Panthers. "The Grapes Count" :- Blaze 2 v. Panthers 5.

We were all over Coventry in that 1st period I thought, lots of shots, not sure it’s correct that we had the same amount of SOG as Coventry.
Anyway, promising stuff but we should probably be ahead

Drums should be for home fans only. Firsrly you shouldn't need drums to create noise at away games. Secondly, at least when at home you know where to avoid them. Im not exagguerating when I say i've got ear ache 1 side after only 1 period.
Anyway, decent first petiod. Not quite opened them up to create clear chances but lot's of good play and some good shots.

Yes, +1 in three games played prior to the game this evening.

Lose 3-1 in another frustrating game.
Plenty of puck possession and control throughout the game in the O-zone but we weren’t direct enough with it, Blaze’s defence did well with their physicality to keep us to the outside.
Poor decision by Lunsjo on the 1st and Rok may be a little disappointed on it as well. Not aggressive enough on the PK for their 2nd, let Kristo move into the slot and fire one. I’m sure the team will be disappointed to come out of the weekend with 0 points

Not just the quality we have no grit/muscle, just get thrown around like little puppy dogs!

Yep, two close losses to the team in 4th and last years champs, away from home, and we may as well give up.
Thrown around like puppy dogs. That’s a good one. 🤣

Plucky wins now and again.... willing to bet we go 6 for 0 against sheffield this season and it wont be much different against belfast...

We do really need some size up top to bring a different dimension. We just lose so many board battles due to people being pushed off to easy. Our D did a good job tonight. Dont personally feel Rok could do a lot about the first, although I was there so only seen it live. Lunsjo with a school boy error. Stupidly tried to skate straight up the middle from behind his own goal. Got his pocket picked between the circles for the Cov player to be all alone in front of Rok. It may have gone through him some way but the guy had all the time in the world. The other was a PP goal from an arguably so call. On that subject I think we got the wrong end of the decisions in that game. Caruso hard done to twice I think, but certainly the first. Then similar plays not called the other way. Wouldn't put that near the top of the list of reasons we lost though. Another day and the bounces go our way, we win that comfortably.
I dont think this team will compete at the top come the business end of the season as it is. They all work so, so hard. That'll get them some results agaisnt good teams at times. Add a little bit of extra quality though and you take luck out of games like tonight.

Since we’ve returned we’ve had some tough games and every game has been close. It hurts losing but let’s give this team some credit, they’ve come back after a long break that will have taken its toll mentally and physically, other teams continued improving during that time, but our lads have competed hard and performed well upon their return.
The team is lacking in certain areas but hopefully that gets addressed. There is quality in this team though. Let’s not write them off yet, once we find our sharpness and rythm we’ll compete with any team.
Let’s back them, starting with this Saturday against Guildford

This team, even as it is, is a million times more worth watching than last season’s.

Block 7 according to this: coventryblaze.co.uk/away-seating/I presume it's a moveable feast due to the numbers likely to show up?
