It was wonderfully put together yesterday, everyone involved at our club, the arena staff and organisers, all did a wonderful job.
It was tear jerking walking down to ice level, through the corridors and onto our bench, then to see the on-ice memorial, it was beautiful but heart breaking at the same time. The club and arena should be proud of the way they’ve handled this, I think the fans are certainly proud of them.

Great words from OP and KM. I wonder if Paredes will be back, very strange he's not there & I hear he's taken this very badly. This has changed soo many people's lives. Devastating

It's a sad fact of life that we have to see so many people pass. Quite often it can be clear when people are just putting nice words together to try and be kind when really they dont mean it. It's very clear that this isn't the case with Adam. So many wonderful and beautiful things being said and you can really tell how much everybody means it. In a way he was everything you wouldn't expect a clear superstar of this league to be. No ego, no fuss, no demands. Just humble and down to earth. It's a shame that we only really, truely get to learn all this in these circumstances. He sounds like he was the most amazing human.
A wonderful job done by Omar and an exceptional one by Kevin Moore.

Everybody at The Panthers, NIC and The Hockey Community have acquitted themselves impeccably.
But I want to give a shout-out to Kevin Moore, who has come across so very well as a sort of spokesman.
Omar's speech came off well as well

The fundraising efforts of lots of teams from various UK leagues are starting to be seen in the Memorial Fund: from hundreds of pounds to thousands of pounds, with one recent donations being over £5000 raised from the fans of one EIHL club last weekend, with more donations to come I'm sure.
Makes you proud to be part of this hockey community at such a tough time.

Omar's speech came off well as well Yes Kevin has been a shining light in that regard. To step forwards, as he's done several times, to articulate the pain and the feelings of the team (so they don't have to) and to carry that weight and responsibility on behalf of the devastated players speaks volumes to who he is as a coach and a man. There was a lovely post on Twitter of a parent of a junior Nottingham player who had been at a game Kevin was watching here in Nottingham. They and their kid had got chatting to him and Kevin was giving the kid tips as they watched the game. When he left he gave the parent his email for the kid in case he every had any follow up questions. As the parent said, it wasn't just this that impressed her so much, but the fact that he's answered every single email her son had sent since then.
