I bet it is, hopefully good things come to those who wait Yeah cause they've been signed weeks just Panthers playing games again not announcing them 🙄 I’d rather be in our situation where we don’t know whether or not we are finished than in Steelers fans position where the club has openly admitted that they’re playing games and making fans wait

So Wideman, Lunsjo and one more upfront and then the 2 d.

Not by anyone on here anyway. That twitter account seems to be the only rumour source reliable or otherwise out there at the moment. And although they’ve had a good hit rate it’s not got them all right. Durflinger turned out to be wrong. Whether he was in talks with Panthers and decided against us nobody knows and there was also that Belarusian defenceman that was rumoured that has seemingly come to nothing. Wideman and Lunsjo are the two outstanding current rumours but they were put out there quite a long time ago now so until they are confirmed then we can’t assume about anyone we may or may not have signed. We’ve also announced signings like Roy and Lemay who nobody had a whiff of so there’s nothing to say we haven’t got more of those lined up

The longer they're not announced, the more I think Wideman and Lunsjo are not happening. But who knows?

Guildford proved you don’t need to be a big or overly physical team to be successful in this league. Also without watching them play first whose to say we haven’t already signed some gritty forwards

Guildford were hardworking and a somewhat gritty team, they were joint shortest and the lightest team last season but were still able to have a successful season. With the way this team is being built I thinks it’s unlikely to see a big power forward signed and right now I wouldn’t say it’s a need but that could change depending on how they play.

I doubt we will sign one either but I’m very worried about how one dimensional we look.

We haven’t had a rink rat, or power forward for 2/3 seasons now and it has shown! We are bullied by teams like Belfast Cardiff Sheffield week in week out. For me the teams that win stuff always have balanced teams, mixture of speed/skill and size

Guildford should be kicking themselves for not winning the league last year, with a team that most of the people on here wouldn't have backed to win a coin toss on paper, let alone the league. They will be rueing the Christmas games, 0 for 6 points, 3 points in those 3 games (2 vs Storm) would've won them the league. The whole roster had 64 AHL games, and 55 of those were one of the goalies. Just goes to show.

Wondered when someone would pick this up. Judge by results, but surely a positive step?

He's got a few first items I think... Title sponsorship would be good first look. As would some league wide "other" sponsorship. (a la Greene King as per the play off jerseys) As would enhanced media presence on major sites (BBC etc) As would a "proper" TV/streaming deal As would a joined up webcast policy As would a few others. We'll see what "Commercial operations" means soon, I guess. Wonder if he'll get a proof reader for the website? AT least he's got a decent fan survey to tell him what's wrong.

They do seem to have gone a bit OTT this year, got something like 8 friendlies. Might be starting so early to help Belfast a bit with some CHL prep?
