Once upon a times Panthers fans were seen as some of the most knowledgeable around...
Tonight they've voted Dubeau as player of the year!
How embarrassing is that.. just what are they watching š

I don't remember seeing the vote for this on the OS?
Very strange selection given he's basically the backup.

I've just looked through the awards. Some strange choices.
Myers Brit of the year says it all about our Brit pack.

I don't remember seeing the vote for this on the OS? Very strange selection given he's basically the backup. Coaches, players, staff, family and guests, so not riff raff invited. Probably avoiding the fans due to the season we had. Was going to post this theme recently. So what are peoples thoughts on who was our best forward, defender, player of the year?

Iāve got a couple here from years past if you wanna buy em.

Something found on a car boot by a couple and bought by me from them (folk in Skegness area), which was a nice trip out to purchase it for my collection. Some player of the night/game or something.

The links for the awards were shared in a news article on the official site on 7th March. Was also at least on the clubs Facebook & Twitter Ah, fair enough then, completely missed it. Would be interesting to see how many votes there were/the breakdown of them.

Forward of the year finished the season in Germany. Least worst dman was probably Caruso, although Summers has been as consistent.Player of the year ? I'd say no-one deserves it, the nearest is probably Anderson, he always comes to play, never backs down and plays a full 60 mins.Best of a bad bunch.

Looking at who won what and who it was chosen by and you would have to question the coaching staffs' ability if they think they were the best. Was it a case of, well you had a bit of a poor season but here is a trophy to say you've won something?

And what happened to the top goal scorer award, was it a bit too embarrassing that he jumped ship half way through the season ? š¤£ Or top points scorer ? And whatās with the friends, family, staff and invited mates only thing too, Omarās new era of supposed inclusion culture and transparency seems to have forgotten the fans there. In reality not much at all has changed really !

I think you can submit as many votes as you like on that form as well, so maybe thatās how the fans player of the year has been influenced

Was it a case of, well you had a bit of a poor season but here is a trophy to say you've won something? It has. Itās got worse. The weirdest most surreal thing Iāve ever seen and on top of that the players mic was switched off. Was Pasha even there or has he already gone?

Yet apparently they keep saying the āoff ice stuffā has been massively improved by Pacha, yeah right, what was that then a cringeworthy player fan message, a few lucky bags full of tat, a drink paid for by somebody else and an awards night that was embarrassing ! š

I went early and got my free drinks voucher to be 'appreciated', then left and went to the Partizan for a proper drink arriving back before the faceoff. How on earth could they charge seven quid for what they serve up? Glad it was 'free' because I would have paid Ā£2 for the tasteless wazz that masqueraded as beer.
Perhaps next year they could have another go and swap things around and have mediocre off ice stuff and massively improve the 'on ice' product?

Off ice stuff is cheap and it keeps the happy clappers simping = WinWin

I watched it online live.
Nottingham Building Society, the clubs main sponsor, didnāt send anyone. Annie from the Burger Shack got up and presented for them.
Poor on NBSās part.
A lot of awards were nominated by fellow players / sponsors.
Felt sorry for Ken having to stand there being all positive. I know him through work and heās a decent guy.

To be honest I thought Annie from the Burgershack looked quite scruffy, most of the others at least looked smart to present the trophies, she came as a 'stand in' for the Nottm BS she didn't look any different to when she 'skips' onto the ice on match days.

Yes I thought the same. I liked the picture of Bill looking thoroughly bored and not even watching. Lol good one Bill. š
