Or in even simpler terms....six weeks ago either somebody was useless or somebody was lying ! Imagine if that was an import where a replacement could have been signed. You really don't have the first clue do you. It is a complex injury that could have been healed in a week, unfortunately it wasn't and had to be continually assessed and evaluated by medical professionals (of which I'm pretty sure you ain't one!). No-one lied, no-one was 'useless'. Also, Ferrara last played on the 26th of February, 10 days after the signing deadline so even if it was an import, no replacement could have been signed. Still, don't let facts get in the way of your usual agenda! A “complex injury” like a torn wrist isn’t going to heal in a few days, especially for a hockey player and if it was a complex injury then that says to me it should never have been classed as “day to day”from the start. If this was the first time “day to day” had turned into weeks and weeks at Panthers then maybe it could be more believable but it isn’t the first time is it,this has happened before quite a few times.

You don’t know how bad the tear was so you can’t possibly put a timeframe on it and you can’t start acting like everyone heals at the same rate. Also why would Panthers lie? They’ve told us he’s done so what possible benefit could have been gained from keeping it quiet for 4 weeks

They’ve told us he’s done so what possible benefit could have been gained from keeping it quiet for 4 weeks A few options as to why to keep it quiet or "day to day" which all depends which angle you look at it from. A. As you say not everyone heals at the same rate so they were unsure of the expected duration of the layoff. B. Keep your opponents guessing, if he's day to day then not playing on Saturday doesn't mean he won't be Sunday. C. Not let your paying fans know that you're knowingly playing short for the remainder of the season when they're already upset about how the season has panned out. As I say all depends which angle you look at it from, I suspect the reality is probably a bit from each option. Frustrates people as they have experience of all of the options being the reason, when in reality options C shouldn't be there. Personal option based on Jono's comment with understandably more knowledge of the situation than the rest of us is that it was either worse than originally assessed as or aggrevated during rehab.

They give hundreds of free tickets away so why not £1 tickets ? This doesn’t make sense it’s not right. Fair point. Tbh I don’t mind people benefitting from cheap tickets, but give some rewards to those ST holders that have committed as well. Also, I don’t mind a lot of discounted tickets being issued if the goal is to actually fill the building close to capacity every week I bloody mind, why should I pay full price yet people who know XYZ get a freebie or next to nothing. Just to get bums on seats. If the on ice product was any good then it would fill itself and make the useless crap owner more money he can avoid spending on the club.

He's on the lineups bit on the League site, but not on the game sheet bit. So I'll let you lot tell me if he's playing or not.

Not going to lie, missing Sheffield is a very small mercy at the end of a dreadful season. The last thing we needed was a pasting at their place of some inevitable comeback to top it off.
Panthers deserve absolutely nothing in these playoffs but maybe could capitalise on what will be some pretty emotionally jaded Flames players after finally losing out on the league.
That’s a very small maybe btw.
