A simple question. Do you feel that you get VALUE FOR MONEY attending ice hockey in the UK nowadays ? Please simply submit a Yes or No response along with a VFM score from 0 ( minimum ) upto 10 ( maximum ). Thanks in anticipation.

Not sure why your post didn't get any responses.
I am a Yes - but I will caveat that with the fact that I have only been to NIHL games this season, and Lions charge £5 full price

I buy more webcasts than go to games (not always Panthers games) and for me yes I don’t have a problem with cost. Ice hockey just isn’t a popular sport in the UK so it’s always going to cost while it lasts

Low quality and high cost so the answer is around 2

From the relatively few games I watch these days... No I’d give it a 4. The player quality and overall regular excitement just isn’t there anymore and as for webcasts they should cost no more than £10.

The full week of practice and every race included but UK ice hockey just has a tiny following. If the quality had gone up and more teams were involved it would be different but it’s only happy clappers that keep it going. I have no idea how the smaller teams keep going. Some Manchester, Dundee and Fife games have more rink staff than paying customers

No - 2
Panthers are crap. I pay my money to watch the entire team that actually tries game after game, not just tick box`s for lacklustre club sponsors and a owner who couldn't give a damn.

I would say generally yes and 7 for me.
But on Panthers the answer is No and 0 (bad season overall) Let's hope 23/24 season is better.

I stopped going 3-4 seasons ago because sat at a match against Dundee I was bored rigid by what I was watching. If the quality has dropped since then and prices have increased, value for money is poor in my opinion.
