Injuries thread and updates

So, Hammond is out with a concussion it seems and now Johnston as well to concussion from what GG said post game.

Given our current run of luck figured it might be good to have a single thread just to help us keep track of things and updates and help us see where we are at with things. Also figure it might help Spik keep his fixtures and statistics thread up to date with injury details.

Sounds like Caruso will be out for few more weeks as well

Hopefully this will be the last month we need this thread but I'm not holding my breath just yet. Two concussions are not going to be quick returns I suspect and would explain why Hammond's not back yet.

We’ve had a dreadful start to this season with injuries, the same happened last season. Why is that?

Concussions are something that a lot of sports are a lot more aware of and taken a lot more seriously. In the past a lot of players played through but now a lot more is understood and needs full recovery from. Three concussions now = game over

Given concussions can potentially prevent a player returning for months and at worst be career ending (which I sincerely hope is not the case) i sincerely hope Panthers are seriously looking at bringing in I.R cover.

I won't hold my breath though, especially with what's going on north of the border.
A test for the new regime for sure.

I would hope the players aren't rushed back either.
