Big game this one,Flames have picked up well lately,Clan and Blaze both have games in hand. Panthers could end up 6th come seasons end and cop a nasty play off QF if they’re not careful.

Good result that, I didn’t go but it looks like it was another close fought game but it’s great that we’ve bounced back from yesterday. We’ve done really well against the Flames this season, 4 league games played and 4 wins, plus we beat them on aggregate in the cup.
Nice to see Boivin get a couple of goals and Norrish sealed it with the empty net. Personally they are two players that I would like back next season.

Yes, a very pleasant result. Especially as I thought that The Sheffield Game must have taken a lot out of them.

Couldn’t have been any more tired than Guildford they’ve just had a 10 hour bus trip back from Dundee. Looks like we have a Lane out now aswell.

Seriously though, I guess as we don't have anything to play for except maintaining our position by playing .500 hockey until the end of the season, we'll struggle on with what we've got, instead of (preparing for the worst and) bringing someone in.

It's alright saying we'll struggle on to the end of the season but is anything going to change during the summer to make panthers a contender for next year? I doubt it

You wait for ages for Norrish to score, then he does it in successive games...

You wait for ages for Norrish to score, then he does it in successive games... I’m glad he’s managed to get a couple, hopefully that’ll spur him on and he’ll get a few more. We’ve been desperate for goals this season, I think a lack of scoring from defence has been a big negative. It says a lot when Tetlow is our joint top goal scorer amongst our dmen in the league.

The Dman you should be looking at is Matheson, because only 3+17 from him in 47 games is really poor considering the big minutes he plays !
