Looks like an exciting last few minutes. Why was it a 5 on 4 PPG in OT?

Looks like an exciting last few minutes. Why was it a 5 on 4 PPG in OT? Doherty and Graham both got minors at same time before end of the game. Then in OT we got a powerplay, Doherty and Graham came out of the box during the PP and we scored.

Always nice to win in Sheffield but that was very poor game management at the end though. Boivin and Welsh continue to be our most influential forwards, Brassard had a decent game offensively as well. Pleasing to see Kelsall get another goal as well!
Hopefully we’ve not got anymore injuries, Sheffield lost Hodgman part way through the game so they’re going to be severely depleted tomorrow.
Huge game tomorrow now against the Flyers, a must win if we’re going to start making our way up the table.

That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. 😂

First trip to Sheffield this year and great to see the match night experience there again and see why they are killing everyone else on crowd numbers. Like comparing a theme park to a McCarthy Stone care home.
We scored some good goals against a team missing it’s top line but our defence is just plain awful. Leaving two pretty poor netminders out to dry continuously and a complete and total inability to clear the zone. The worst Panthers defence I’ve seen for many years. Almost laughably poor.
We have a few very good players and some that you wouldn’t miss if they cleared off to Spain for a month. With the experience that Wallace and Grommit have of this league they are a lot better at giving friends a job than putting together a ‘team’.

He says that it is non performance enhancing drug that he has taken. Can we assume that it is recreational then. Does that make any difference for the length of the ban? What was he thinking? Tweet from Deluca. No mention of DeLuca and his failed drug test on the EIHL website. Do we think they might be trying to keep it quiet. After all, they announce that somebody’s suspended or gone into Covid protocol etc but no mention of DeLuca being suspended.

Yotes has posted the link from when it was announced on the 27th above Iggy. Where it was top of the news section for much of the day. This article link was also posted in threads here on the day of the announcement on the league website. The League website article is still there and very easy to find. Indeed, if you use the search function on the website for Deluca his drug failure suspension is the second article that comes up. And it's only second because there's a more recent article from the 28th that *also* references his indefinite suspension. Couldn't get much further from trying to keep it quiet. Steelers have said they'll make no further comment but that's likely for legal reasons anyway. But the league has referenced it since

I do have a bit of an excuse for missing it though as living without power, light, heat or internet for four days and nights is not easy.
