www.panthers.co.uk/home/211110-car-parking"The season-long car parking deal with Nottingham City Car Parks is having to move location at the end of November. The deal, which works out at less than three pounds a game, has been affected by the planned closure of the Motorpoint Arena surface car park. Instead, fans with the season-long pass, will automatically have it transferred to the brand new state-of-the-art secure Broad Marsh Car Park. The smaller Lace Market car park could be designated for fans if they choose but there is limited capacity at that location. Alternatively the car parks operators will do a pro-rata refund less their admin charges. Call the car park operators on 01158761444. Fans can use their season-long car park pass on game days as many times as they like making it possible to come into town during the day and return again later for the match at no extra cost."

Also sounds like you can ask to be assigned to the Lace Market if you prefer that to Broadmarsh. Seems a fair compromise from the Council/Panthers.
Personally I hate that crappy surface car park as it's just a dust bowl and means my car is permanently dirty! Plus I have an electric car so 81 charging points is great news for me. There are only 2 in the Lacemarket and they are the tiniest bays imaginable!

Just had an email from the council, the Lace Market option isn't a thing.
Broad Marsh 10 minutes from the arena is not what I paid for, and the £25 admin charge is laughable they are offering a £30 refund.
Think I'll just challenge the transaction with my bank.

Yep, they've broken it down as follows: 33 games in the fixtures 14 games to end of November played Season pass for all home games is: £95.00 / 33 = £2.88 per game £2.88 x 14 (games played) = £40.32 £95.00 – £40.32 = £54.68 £25 admin charge = Refund of £29.68

Are trying to make it so unattractive to cancel that no one would bother.

For anyone who's interested, council are doubling down on the refund and admin charge thing: Slight issue with that, I called and brought off the back of this article... www.panthers.co.uk/news/210920-parking which doesn't say that in the slightest!

Yep it doesn’t say that at all,the council are talking complete nonsense. Send them a copy of the article and tell them they had better sort it out with Panthers.

If Blacky ends up on the hook for a few 25 quid admin fees they'll have to fire up Rafall again.

If Blacky ends up on the hook for a few 25 quid admin fees they'll have to fire up Rafall again. They can afford it. Have you seen how many £1 tickets they sell for the chance to win a shirt that costs them just a few quid !

Oh they've been sent it, twice!
Think they're struggling to work out they're in the wrong on this!
Plus I've started the challenge process with the bank too.

Keep us posted. £25 admin is daylight robbery. They answer one phone call and send out a piece of laminated paper. £5 would have been more than fair.

Will do, I pointed out in my most recent email to them, if it requires £25 of admin to remove a car reg from the ANPR in their "State of the Art" new car park then they've been ripped off. For me, an admin charge would only have been acceptable if I'd changed my mind, this is something I wouldn't have purchased had the change been made clear. Therefore, they owe me £54.68!

Bank won't touch it, which is unhelpful, wish I'd purchased on Credit Card now!
However, had an interesting conversation with the legal advice on one of my insurance policies based on the facts presented the legalise is:
The contract has been breached as the statement of fact regarding it has become untrue, and I've been induced to enter the contract on grounds of misrepresentation because it's reasonable to assume they knew this was coming, so under section 24 of the consumer rights act I should be returned to the position I was in before I entered the contract less deductions for use, which as NCC have already outlined did not include an admin fee in the valuation of the pass.
Ball back in their court!

By you know, being honest, and giving people what they paid for, or not selling something you can't provide!
