You would have thought the pandemic would have provided the EIHL to actually draw up a plan of sorts to stop the absolute farce of a format the Challenge Cup kicks up every year. That attendance is totally understandable.
In terms of actual on ice action, always good to win and nice to get a buzzer beater to take it to overtime and to win. The Flames doing us a favour would be the real cherry on top though.

Never 3k there You know what GM is like, thinks they’re a bigger fish than they are, wants them to be seen high up there in those Euro attendance rankings. I once stood with him on Boxing Day in Sheffield and when the crowd was announced as being 7025 he looked around and said “never that many in no chance,if there’s that many here today I tell you what there’s going to be 7028 in our barn tomorrow”. And you know what, that was indeed exactly the crowd figure given the following day. I kid you not !

I've emailed them back and pointed out I didn't pay for a 10 minute walk to the arena, I paid for a season in the arena car park a couple of minutes walk away and the closure wasn't disclosed when they took my money... be interesting to see what reply I get Not sure what the council advertised, but Panthers advertised that it was for the "Motorpoint Arena car park and/or the new Broadmarsh Car Park." www.panthers.co.uk/news/210902-car-parkAdmittedly that's not clear about the closure of the current car park, but they did include the new Broadmarsh car park when advertising it. And when you spoke to them on the phone to order, no mention of Arena one closing, just that Lace Market was the overflow until Broad Marsh opened...

A little bit of Panthers craftiness going on there in not quite disclosing in that article what would probably be a fair bet they knew was going to happen with the arena car park methinks. 😉 Someone's been crafty and for once I don't think it was Panthers

I couldn't see anything on the website, but I have the parking permit and was emailed during the week. Basically from next month, you'll park in the new Broadmarsh car park as the current car park is going to be dug up and redeveloped into something new. In the meantime we still use the arena car park, but if there is an issue with overflow, you'll be sent to the Broadmarsh (previously they had the Lace Market car park as overflow). I've emailed them back and pointed out I didn't pay for a 10 minute walk to the arena, I paid for a season in the arena car park a couple of minutes walk away and the closure wasn't disclosed when they took my money... be interesting to see what reply I get A reply?

I may be in the minority here but when I rang to get my parking pass in September I was told then, that the car park would be closing 'at some point' and we would all be moved to Broadmarsh once it was opened.

So why didn’t they make that clear in the news article if they knew ? I think it was fairly clear in the article that the Broadmarsh would be "in play" at some stage. It's mentioned by name, to be fair.

Well they confirmed someone would be responding Yes, I got that from Telford and got a reply about 3 weeks later but after emailing almost all the Elite clubs asking about purchasing something from them NOT ONE has replied, go figure that one.

Now if they'd said that to me, I wouldn't have brought it, all they said was about the overspill being Lace Market then Broad Marsh.

This is the council rather than Panthers though, so hopefully more chance!
