As this is a pointless cup game we may aswell just talk attendance for this once.
Got to be predicting the lowest crowd for a competitive Panthers game in the NIC. Cup game, Sunday, day after a league home game. Lookingat the ticket site now Id be staggered if more than 2k are sold by game time.

Panthers need to take a look at whatever the Steelers are doing because they got over 6000 once again last night for another pointless cup game with Storm. And yes tickets were full price and there would be the same Covid worries in Sheffield so there are no excuses. Panthers best get that new sales executive appointed sharpish i reckon.

I couldn't get any sense out of the Panthers website regarding parking. Anyone any ideas?

I couldn't get any sense out of the Panthers website regarding parking. Anyone any ideas? I couldn't see anything on the website, but I have the parking permit and was emailed during the week. Basically from next month, you'll park in the new Broadmarsh car park as the current car park is going to be dug up and redeveloped into something new. In the meantime we still use the arena car park, but if there is an issue with overflow, you'll be sent to the Broadmarsh (previously they had the Lace Market car park as overflow).

Give MCP and Hopkins regular shifts, give Kerlin the start.
Next game that matters is 20th against the Blaze.

I've emailed them back and pointed out I didn't pay for a 10 minute walk to the arena, I paid for a season in the arena car park a couple of minutes walk away and the closure wasn't disclosed when they took my money... be interesting to see what reply I get

A little bit of Panthers craftiness going on there in not quite disclosing in that article what would probably be a fair bet they knew was going to happen with the arena car park methinks. 😉

Woop woop. This team has some fight, even when it doesn't really matter.
Great stuff.

As quite often happens with these games ot ended up being quite entertaining. Aside the little spell where Manchester scored 3 quick ones Kerlin had a really good game. Some outstanding saves in there. New guy again looks decent. We do really need some toughness in for dealing with some of the antics we encountered tonight. Another dug out win. Well done Panthers.

Nice to see a fight back and Kerlin standing tall in net to get us the victory, really pleased for him.
We were far from our best tonight, the Storm looked up for it considering they’d be out if they lost. I sound like a broken record but they league must revamp the competition next season, otherwise there will continue to be attendances similar tonight.
I think that Tim was giving Suoranta, Lane, Baillargeon a lot more ice time than usual, they were more productive than normal but they still didn’t seem to click.
I thought Welsh had another good game, scored a good goal, created Baillargeon’s first goal. He’s far from another Jon Rheault!😂

Welsh will go about his business quietly and probably draw some critisism. I think he'll be a Cameron Mann type player. He'll do all the basics really well and pick up steady points whist being unspectacular.

A few cheap shots and bad hits that should've had somebody at least asking questions. General Manchester type behaviour.
