Good win. Good to battle back and win. Going to 3-3, always a risk we lose the game but to give get the game winner a minute later and see it out is impressive.

Victory, again. Well done Panthers. More importantly for the thread & forum, what was that crowd figure please KTG? I fear I let you all down and, please forgive me, I watched the game! If you want a guess-o-meter reading, I'd guess around 3,000 total.

Scrappy performance but won (If that was Cardiff or Belfast, people would be saying that's what Champions are made off)
Gave up a 2 goal lead again, considering it was against Sheffield, Cardiff and Guildford, it's understandable but something I'd like sorting out.
Appears there was no Lee or Suroranta icing tonight.
Guildford are no mugs.
Don't know why they can't do full player introductions, they've got the pictures now.
It was freezing at The Arena tonight

Apparently we won't be doing the player intros anymore. Wallace wants them to come out as a team. Plus Dan Kerry (Panthers media man) has stated that the deal with Premier Sports mean they have to declare their opening 6 so they are the only ones being read out.

Wallace is doing very well considering we usually have disaster starts and spend the season playing catch up. No Lee or Suroranta (although they did warm-up?) and Doherty looked in trouble at the end.

Fair enough regarding Wallace having them come out as a team however why Premier Sports want The Starting Line-Ups for a Non Televised Game is beyond me

Good result tonight considering we were still missing Suoranta and now Lee…
We looked flat in the 1st period and off the pace but we saw a bit of magic from Carozza and Matheson to get us going in the second, then we rode the momentum from there. We finally managed to score on the powerplay, our only chance of the night. Myers scored a lovely goal as well.
I was a bit fearful after Guildford had clawed it back but Domingue came up big for us. Strange that he never really made a go of it in the ECHL.
It looks like Guildford are going to be no pushovers this season, I was doubting Dixon in my pre-season predictions but it looks like they’ll have no issues.
Doherty looked like he broke his skate towards the end of the game, hopefully he’s not hurt as we really can’t afford any more injuries. I’d like to see us bring in a 14th import as it’s going to be a long season and playing short benched all the time is going to hurt us.
Two home league victories in a row, against good sides, the team look confident right now.

I was there in block 15 and for a Wednesday night it was well attended and we were all happy to loudly support our team 😀

Apparently we won't be doing the player intros anymore. Wallace wants them to come out as a team. Plus Dan Kerry (Panthers media man) has stated that the deal with Premier Sports mean they have to declare their opening 6 so they are the only ones being read out. If that's the reason then that makes sense to me. Some players inevitably get bigger roars for various reasons, which clearly goes against the team first ethos Wallace wants: win as a team, lose as a team, no individuals or primas. Perhaps they need to think about making an entrance package that reflects that ethos?

Imagine a life that you can’t enjoy a teams win and start bitching and moaning about attendances fora team you say you don’t care about….or even attend…yet you spend most of your free time talking about.
We won a hockey game. A hockey game we historically would lose. Resilient. Worked hard. Why don’t we focus on that?

Always trying to put Panthers and a certain GM down whatever the result is, for what agenda no-one seems to know why. On the game, it was an entertaining game, which ebbed and flowed. The atmosphere was pretty good as well, with block 19 helping this. As mentioned earlier, the team were off it slightly in the first, but seemed to find a way to have spells of pressure. Didn't realise until mid-way through first period that Lee was absent, but Tetlow seemed to pick up the slack pretty well, making some key interceptions. It's nice to be talking about a home win against Guildford, as over the last few seasons, we haven't seemed to do too well. As also said earlier, there was a very chilly draught in the arena last night.

If you want a guess-o-meter reading, I'd guess around 3,000 total. From block 15 it looked around that figure too i'd say. Only a couple of the blocks looked a bit sparse. It still took long enough queuing for the toilets I know that much!

Does anyone know why the arena staff were taking much longer to allow in season ticket holders? I was stood in express lane, which took twice as long as bag search lanes for same number of people. The staff seemed to be physically having to enter season ticket numbers, yet those with tickets were simply scanned as normal.

They didn't scan our tickets but I heard another member of staff tell ours to do the QR's....
