The league need to give an update on what puts teams into ‘covid protocol’, what is changed exactly? Some reassurance wouldn’t go amiss right now.

Covid protocol means someone has tested positive so whoever has been in contact needs to isolate which is the whole roster They've done away with that haven't they? Replaced it with testing? |

All players are at least double jabbed, so don’t need to isolate?
I guess the EIHL protocol is a bit more draconian.

All players are at least double jabbed, so don’t need to isolate? I guess the EIHL protocol is a bit more draconian. Are they all jabbed though? There's NHL players who have refused to be jabbed there's always the odd one who is a bit militant |

Thought it had been confirmed that you needed to be double jabbed to play? No because it's personal choice.. it's just the NHS where they've made it mandatory to work ? |

It was a suggestion by the government anyway wasn't it? I thought the Elite League had made it a requirement to be vaccinated. |

It’s not players I’m thinking of it’s the crowd. If they’re saying please don’t mix more than 3 households at home how can you then go and mix with 1000 or so other households at a game. It doesn’t make any sense. |

Replaced it with testing? That’s what we understood and all players double jabbed as per EIHL requirements. Plus, Matheson tested positive the other week, the team will have been in close contact with Matheson at that time, yet we carried on playing. It’s no hardship to let the fans know what the situation is exactly and how the rules have apparently changed, even though everybody is vaccinated… |

We obviously have too many cases to be able to put a team on the ice. As do Dundee and Belfast by the look of things. |
