With Glasgow, Sheffield and Coventry recently in Covid team protocol you fear for the seasons completion.
As said before panthers games v Guildford on Dec 11th, Belfast on 12th, 26th and 27th games v Sheffield and these two Manchester games yet to be post game assessed you wonder what mess the EIHL are in now. - noticed on 2/1/22 as corrected, better late than never as they say.

Short note to say that the post game changes due, though late, have finally been done, though not mentioned on the OS news.
Games from the 11th, 26th had an extra assist to Doherty, Myers, Souranta, Tetlow and Thow, whereas three all told awarded to Welsh. Games of 12thy, 27th, 31st and obviously 1st Jan had none.
However, these may be updated on the GRS but seemingly are not in the 'events' or other areas from which detail is added to 'player totals' on the OS and are in limbo. Thus the 'player stats ' will be in chaos right now.

Betteridge now moves into all-time appearances at 17th after overtaking Gavin Fraser, 383 games before this season and with another 27 = 410, only 4 behind Bill Allen in 16th now.

Thus the 'player stats ' will be in chaos right now. Not sure what's going on. We know that the game on the 31st had Panthers score 5, with only 2 assists being awarded initially. Panthers themselves tweeted a "here's all 10 assists" story, and these 10 assists are all valid on independent review, but the GRS, despite having apparently been suitably reviewed, still shows just the 2 assists. Deep breath...

Matt MYERS has now overtaken Corey Nielson as regards All-Time 'points' into 13th place.
NB) With the OS now not alerting us of when they make changes to post match GRS, we are having to keep checking.
It seems that all games up to 18th January have now been dealt with and thus 'changes' to the player statistics on this thread have also been done now.

TETLOW has now surpassed 100 penalty minutes whilst playing for Nottingham.
Note...Due to GRS that HAD been changed some time ago AND now having more changes, the player stats have been altered here. ie) game v Manchester on 31st December has had a goal scored originally given to number 9 which has changed and thus the original assister (20) given the goal instead, therefore a swap. Other assists added to six players too. Changes made to four other games also.

At the half way point of the season, Panthers are "perfect" 0.500 hockey, both at home and away. 27 games, 27 points.

After game 28, Panthers have exactly 1000 SOGs for the league season, with 875 shots conceded. Goals scored are 81 for, 92 against.
Panthers have the second worst shot conversion percentage in the league so far. Only Blaze are worse. Panthers have the third best shot difference in the league, behind only Belfast and Sheffield, and the second best "average shots for" per game. Fife have the lowest shots for per game, and highest shots against.

Most are correct (at least according to the EIHL website stats) weird though some of them look. Rutkis is a forward, yes? If so, he is the second of the 7 players who have scored all their goals (be it only 1 in his case…) on the PP. Perhaps best not to get me started on the lesser known stat “win-less record”
It’s not a great insight into the stats, no mention of face off, PP or PK or any trends, nor any stats of team vs team. Or any link to ice time, which the league clearly have. Just the basic data sorted and the obvious things picked out. And worded a bit strangely.
“Despite being last overall, Fife have the least amount of penalty minutes per game”
I’m as yet unaware of the apparent correlation between lower league position and higher penalty taking.
5/10, could do better. IMHO.

Before this weekend, take a look at these conversations between two worthy statisticians I am happy to know. Who (along with me of course. lol)could get this sports (Nottingham at least) figures on the road without a problem. I'm sure they won't mind me detailing this: Rob and David talking in response to our major high figures in SOG with few goals scored. Rob. "What were Zemlak’s stats that time he faced about 60 odd shots at the NIC, about 10 years ago? IIRC they had about 12 shots to our 60 and won? Panthers do seem to have issues against Fife goalies? For a bottom dwelling team, Owen is a very respectable 91.62% for the season, having comfortably faced the most shots per game of any goalie, at nearly 40(!) a game." David . "Zemlak: www.ih-update.co.uk/game_details.php?id=2741This has him as 74/76 though other sources say 70/72. Apart from the Fife game this last weekend, there is only one Panthers fixture over the past four seasons in which one side has topped the 60 mark: Sheffield v Panthers on 17 March 2018, in which we won 3-2 despite being outshot 30-60 (Patrick Galbraith 58/60; incidentally, Galbraith is the only Panthers representative who is currently taking part in the Winter Olympics!) In a five-game sequence in 2017-18, we managed consecutive SOG counts of 53-25, 54-31, 43-34, 40-31 and 48-24 – the results were 3-5 (ouch)*, 3-2 SO, 3-2 OT, 3-2 and 5-2. Our only previous game this season with a SOG count in excess of 50 for either team was v Sheffield (CC) on 23 Oct – 54-38 in our favour, resulting in a 3-2 OT win. * Ryan Nie was the Glasgow GK saving 50 out of 53. Mike Garnett was pulled after 34.07 (9/13) and Sam Gospel was 11/11 for the remaining TOI." Rob. "Ryan Nie? Forgotten him… Sometimes I’ll be looking at EIHL teams and see a name I just have no recollection of being familiar with. The last one was an ex team mate of the statistically excellent Dan Spang, this chap. www.eliteprospects.com/player/10640/tom-walshGiants got him straight from the Liiga, when that was pretty unusual to say the least. He may even have been the first EIHL player signed direct from the Liiga?" ME. Stats coming out of their ears.

Decided to do a stats check after Fridays game. Calculating all THEIR (Elite) GRS records (after making sure any changes since the games were accounted for) ie) the most recent of sheets.
Elite has nine errors (from eight players) in the CUP stats, not including Jokinen not even found in the list. That be Carr's games played (1up),Tousignant's penalty total (2up), Balliargeon (1up), Betteridge (1up), Brassard (1down), Domingue (1down), Kelsall (1up), Lane 9(1up) and Tousignant's (1up) assists - hoping they get attention.
Elite has sixteen errors (from thirteen players) from the League stats.
For example in the League they have CARR on 32 games and we have only played 31 by that stage. Our games played (games played in) for both goalies, and goals against for CARR are correct by the GRS, I have to admit I was 3 goals out on shots on goal, but that's corrected now.
I'm saying this of the League stats without having boringly counted the 'actual' sheet totals manually one by one to see if I may be wrong on some. Which hopefully I am, to at least see the Elites errors are limited. Eyes down here we go.
EDIT: Yes, I was correct on all occasions BAR the four Pims which was strange. So these pims totals (Betteridge, Brassard, Myers and Welsh) have been updated on my side. Will the same be said of Elite's own stats, can't tell them as they don't want to listen. So Baillargeon (1up) and Matheson's (1down) goals, Baillargeon (4down), Boivin (2down), Brassard (3down), Lane (2down), Jokinen (1down), Norrish (2down), Tetlow (3down), Tousignant (2down) and Welsh's (1down) assists - we can only hope get theirs altered at some stage. The problem here is that when changes are made to GRS after the game by the 'system' it is not piking these up and changing the player statistics.

A weird one from last Friday 4-3 Dundee Belfast, 4-2 Storm Panthers. All 13 goals over both games were scored at one end.
Those appear to be the 14th and 15th EIHL league games this year where that's (all goals scored at one end) happened.

Shut out number six for Kevin CARR in his time with Panthers, 2nd this season, both in the League.
CARR also moves into 13th place TOI All-Time overtaking O'Connor and chasing Chris Keward some 123.56 mins behind.
Domingue shown on the GRS but he didn't play.
