Decisions on standard work permit applications can take up to 3 weeks. It is also possible to pay extra to get a work permit approved (or not as the case may be) either within 5 days or a next day service I can't see Panthers paying for the quicker services... though I may be wrong. Also you can apply for a work permit upto 3 months before you are due to enter the UK. As such there is no excuse (other than personal issues or problems with the application itself) for any of the imports signed not to be here already. www.gov.uk/guidance/visa-decision-waiting-times-applications-outside-the-ukAdd in the proviso this used to be & could well still be one of Dan Green's jobs and you have the recipe for well... something.

Just a quick note to say this game will be streamed, further details will be announced later today on Devils website, so if you want a glimpse of your new team here’s your chance. Also to those making the journey we have to wear a mask at games in Cardiff, so bring yours with you, and have a safe journey, let’s hope for a entertaining game.

Does seem a bit steep for preseason, still if anyone feels flush: www.cardiffdevilslive.com/And at least they offer it, rather than caveman dot com on Sunday afternoon.

Streaming games cost the same whether there preseason or not, devils this season are using Infinity 21 who ran Steelers/ Giants/ Storm games last time around for this same price 2 seasons ago. It isn’t cheap but at least you get the option unlike the Neanderthals at some clubs.

They're not running it at cost. 15 quid is ludicrous money for one preseason game. Tickets can't be much more than that.

No one is forced to pay for it, it’s a option don’t want to pay then don’t. Myself and many others would have paid that for Sundays game but don’t have the option, and probably never will, there again Black don’t need the money Stay Safe All.

Don’t worry we won’t be paying for it. It’s called taking the peee just like the Steelers charging full normal ticket prices for pre season games. Covid is being used as a cash cow by some EIHL teams !

It’s also far far inferior, but no worse than Glasgow’s, or Guildford’s. So bottom 3 in webcasts could that be a omen.

Tbh, selling nothing for free is, and will always be, better value than an Elite League preseason game on webcast for 15 quid. In fact, any Elite League game on webcast for 15 quid. How has that become accepted pricing? Utter nonsense. How much is NHL TV these days?

Completely misses the point of the type of fans it should be trying to attract.... But that is the mantra of the EIHL, always has been.

I'm not sure how any eihl side can justify charging 15 quid to watch 2nd rate journeymen hockey players tbh.. surely charging a fiver will get more customers in anyway . Panthers will probably be at least 2 imports down tonight anyway.
Do teams rely that much on this as income they feel the need to blatantly rip people off?

Reminder for help. From those who take note of these things Squad icing/dressed. Scorers/ assists/pims Netminder (or both minders for times in goal/SOG)
Thank you

I'd rather pay £15 quid for one EIHL pre-season game than £72 for 1,312 NHL regular season games.
