Yes but your mortality rate after being vaccinated drastically drops. And trust me, having had Covid after one jab and feeling as rotten as I did, never been more glad if taking a jab. Well as your mortality rate is lesser then I am not treat to your life or health right??? This is the part you’re not getting. The vaccine doesn’t reduce it to zero. So we can still get the virus and die. Much like the flu jab. Whilst it won’t effect me say, you put the NHS under more pressure to help you recover from the illness. That means they can’t treat cancer or other diseases because they’re focusing on people with Covid. It means there’s more chance of variants because it spreads quicker where vaccinations aren’t taken. But don’t you worry fella. You sit there and tell us the jabs going to kill us based on no evidence To be quite Frank, I have the power to get rid of you off this forum for some of this nonsense. And I might just do it. This isn’t reasoned debate. This is just a selfish attitude and entitlement of someone who thinks they know better than Professors and doctors. Go out your tin foil hat on and be away with you.

I think all of you double jabbers should remember you can spread it, and still be affected by it!!! I’m just a normal guy choosing to rely on my health against the virus. Again doesn’t mean I’m selfish, doesn’t mean I don’t care or wish to infect you. That's the point for me though. You may not wish to infect anyone, but you still can, and you are far likelier to than someone who is fully vaccinated, whose onward transmission "ability" if infected also falls hugely. "Relying on your health" vs covid seems a bizarre stance to me. There are hundreds of non-vaccinated young people in hospitals up and down the country. Their choice to not have the vaccine is not working so well for them, currently. As above, if you are infected, it's only 99.8% non-lethal, apparently. I'd want to stack those odds in my favour as much as I could. Would you bungee jump with a thinner rope? Parachute with one made of paper? Cross the road blindfolded? Anyway, it is a free country, it is a free choice; but I'm not surprised by some of the hostility. Many people on here, I suspect, have had friends or relatives die, or know someone who has had an awful time with covid. Your "choice" affects others, and the outcomes are potentially deadly.

The oddest thing about all this is thinking the Elite League might already have published plans for this...

Sticky subject but can anyone shed light on what the rules are with regards to being vaccinated or in my cause unvaccinated and still attending games!!! Will be a 450 mile round trip wasted if I get turned away. Just wondering so no need for vaccination bs I think the EIHL will be dictated to by the government on this matter, the government will make the decisions and all events will have to follow orders. Wait and see for now.

They've said unvaccinated people called Jesse shouldn't attend, unless they have a legitimate medical condition that means they can't be vaccinated. Otherwise they should grow the hell up, get the jab and stop being daft. I should grow up based on my opinion not to put something in my body, ok mate!!!! I personally know more people with side effects from the vaccine then those with covid … and those at the other end in health care know things too. Not wanting to make a political note on this thread but you implied Vaccination is bs rather than just ask the polite question as to entry without proof of vaccination. You can avoid putting things into your body - no fuss - but there MAY be consequences to which people on this forum are not at fault for the 10% that are choosing not to comply with a government wish.

I've been sat here for months waiting for this topic to kick off. As with most places. It's difficult to have reasoned conversation on it. This thread went this way based on the very end of one post. Vaccination BS. Without that and sticking to a simple question this wouldn't have exploded.
For what it's worth. I've had jab 1, then around 5 weeks(3 months after jab 1) ago I tested positive and was pretty rough for an entire week. Now suffering with long covid type symptoms. Had to delay jab 2 but that coming up soon now.
However, I do not believe people should be prevented from doing things based on their vaccine status, nor should people have to prove they have had their jab. People coming on here with that attitude though, maybe I can make an exception if it keeps this one out.

I haven’t said the vaccine will kill you, your statement not mine. For most peoples it’s 100% sensible. My mum is vaccinated and rightly so her health is not great at all!!! As for conspiracies and tin foil hat, again another assumption from you, this is not my reasoning. Tbh I will apologize for my original posting stating “vaccine BS” it was more as i suspected this reaction and didn’t want it, wanted to solely talk about hockey!!! But the abuse is madness!!! I get people have lost people, which is rubbish, I personally haven’t, and again know of a person who actually died “possibly” as a reaction to the vaccine. But I can not believe the level of divide between the vaccined and non, it doesn’t have to be like this!!!! Freedom of speech is a thing of the past, everyone is now offended by everything! Sorry for any issues caused

Unpolice-able, I'm afraid. (And that's not even a word) Strange language too.

Unpolice-able, I'm afraid. (And that's not even a word) Strange language too. I must say I'm struggling to recall ever seeing someone putting an apostrophe in front of phone. Phone is a word in it's own right and any spell check would recognise that. Someone has gone out of their way to look old and out of touch.

Unpolice-able, I'm afraid. (And that's not even a word) Strange language too. The article seems to suggest they're not planning to police it in any way, but rather making it a request from the club to the fans. So that would seem to answer the question that caused such fun the other week.

You will still be able to buy tickets actually at home games because there will be QR codes all around the building so you can join in the fun by buying tickets on your ‘phones. Bizarre sentence all round.

And what are they going to do if somebody gets asked if they’ve been double jabbed and says no. That press release is a complete waste of time. 🙄

That press release is a complete waste of time. 🙄 There’s obviously nothing they can do because there isn’t any laws in place, it’s the same with mask wearing, that can’t be enforced. The club have done as much as they can by issuing this statement and asking people to be respectful of others. Hopefully this makes everybody happy who wants to go to games.

Yes indeed,it’s all about covering ones backside. Nothing more anybody can do if some idiot who refuses to even have a jab turns up at a game.

It is, but it's no longer really an abbreviation anymore so it's redundant and just bizarre.

Might’ve missed it on here, but for pre season games, do ST holders have a period of time to get their ST seat before they go general? Or is it completely first come first served? Thanks in advance.

Anyone have an idea when the Season Tickets are being sent out.
Also I'm assuming that we will be notified when they are on the way and can track the delivery?
