How would that work, is it a % of what a building holds. Keeping a max distance. It wouldn’t work if you were to keep the two metre rule in place. That would mean you would only be able to have about one person seated in every block of nine seats. So in say the NIC that would give you a maximum crowd of approx 750 which wouldn’t even pay the rent of the building ! So just like most non Steelers games then...?!

Moran would still give the crowd as 2909 though ! 🤣🙄

Panthers will just have to suck it up and stick to making about £2000 a week from raffling two jerseys. Nice work if you can get it that ! 😛

Apparently they won't do this as they could get in the way if there was an evacuation. I can't see a flimsy barrier stopping me if I needed to get out though (and other arenas use them). ** Obviously I am referring to normal circumstances. this wouldn't be suitable for social distancing

Will be up and running Oct 1/20 with no distancing regs. France has banned all sport, including behind closed doors, until September. We are bound to follow that example to a certain, possibly longer extent.
Your post is wildly optimistic, potentially delusional.
I can imagine some sport being up & running by that time with certain strict crowd controls in place, but only on the big money spinners. This would be dependant on us safely coming out of lock downs with no second wave hitting us which is currently impossible to predict.

Multiple season ticket holder for many many years but unless they sort out a vaccine pdq and magically get it to the entire population in under a year (virtually impossible) I think UK ice hockey is in trouble. Fingers crossed it all works out but personally I can’t see us being fully out of lock down until next year. Several teams last year were ahead of the curve with falling crowds which would be able get some distance between everyone but the league depends upon the big four and they need pretty near full houses to work.
5000 people chanting “Let’s go Panthers” behind masks is going to sound interesting.

Don't worry , rules will be relaxed. You'll be allowed in with your own sandwiches , catheter bag and a anti-virus all in one Panther suit ( Black and Gold of course) sold from the shop prior to the game by mail order. Sit by your friends. New rules ,no kissing/touching etc, entrance/exit by allocated doors.

CHL 'group' stage cancelled. All 32 teams go straight into a knockout, presumably based on the seedings Cardiff will face one of the top teams.
