Bit of a strange interview with wallace last night.. sounds like some players are on their way..? It’s only the beginning of October but about bloody time. It’s almost like GD is still working for Cardiff. The mid season replacements brought in last year were utter crap but world beaters compared to the talentless dead wood we are watching at the moment.

I agree with Jakobs and possibly Bulmer, but DeSantis? I don't think he is at risk. You do know that he is a D don't you?
I would think that Malmquist (although you and may improve) and Quist are at risk in my view

Bit of a strange interview with wallace last night.. sounds like some players are on their way..? And how come the esteemed “director of hockey” has been caught out by the ill, injured, sorry retired centre and is only now scratching about for a replacement? what the hell does he do all day? The only thing happening so far is November has been moved forward to October.

Firstly, I'm not certain that I am allowed to post on these boards as I actually go to the games. Best start to a post all year.

I included him because I’d guess he’s a top three earner and he doesn’t seem to be figuring or producing much. Malmquist I’d agree but he’s probably pretty cheap so will get more leeway.

I thought Malmquist looked like one of the better players last night, after a relatively quiet start. I like him and would be happy to see him stay.
Bulmer is a tough one, he's a quality player and I feel once he gets going he'll be very effective. I'd give him more time.
If I had to choose one player to put on notice it would be Jakobs. I'd like us to bring in at least two more players, instil more fear into the underperforming players that they will be replaced if they don't get their act together.
If Perlini wasn't a Brit he'd be up there with Jakobs as first ones out the door. He's been complete gash so far this season.

Jakobs would be first out for me, then Malmquist. Agreed on Perlini.
2 players who can win faceoffs would be good. Steelers won them for fun last night.

The gamesheet suggest otherwise on the face-offs which I’m quite surprised at. We won 35 out of 57, which is pretty good actually. Malmquist also won 12 out of 18 which is very good. Personally I feel Malmquist has been getting better, he’s not one of the players I’d be looking to get rid of.

I think Jakobs is everyones no.1 choice to be cut. For me Golovokovs and Quist aren't far behind. Bulmer is one that i think will start firing but he needs to start very soon. Disagree to certain extent with Perlini. Thought for the first few games he was very good and one of the only ones scoring goals. Dried up last couple of weeks but then so has everyone.
Herr and Betteridge putting everyone else to shame at the moment.
