Good signing was well impressed with him last season & he knows the league.

Hmmm... Hope GD and TW know what they're doing with this one with only 3 forward slots left to fill. Obviously Wallace knows him and he is young and still looking to prove himself but its not one that's got me excited. That being said i didn't pay much attention to MK last season so don't really remember him

That’s number one of our final four stud forwards. Nice.

Stood out for me on a very poor MK team last year. Very skilled, very quick & still young & knows the league and of course Tim Wallace. Hopefully will improve his points output with better players around him
Georgs Golovkovs highlights....

Ya know what I’m sure i read somewhere that Doucet was doing the recruiting for this years team. Strangely It’s looking more and more like a Wallace lead team to me ! 🤔🤣

Not the wow signing I was expecting today but I think I this is an indicator of how the starting line-up will look. Golovkovs played LW for MK last season, he’s got plenty of speed and he’s a good skater. As we know he did reasonably well for a struggling team last season and if Wallace wants him and trusts his ability then so do I.

If Wallace has good tactics and good players to recommend you'd be stupid to ignore him. Anyway it was Doucet that recruited Wallace so it still has his influence on the team. Also i don't tend to read too much into highlight packages but some of the skill he's shown in some of those clips was very impressive

Hard to read as hes pretty young. But not a signing that settles the nerves for me. We're fast running out of forward slots for goals.

Similar output for them as Kovacs managed for us. Looks OK, but hardly one of these lights out signings for the top six that have been mooted (by posters, rather than club). We'll see.

If he’s 3rd line then good signing. Just seems odd that they signed Doucet as DOH with seemingly a very clear responsibility that he was to recruit the coach and the team and yet it seems to be very much leaning towards Wallace. Mmmm....Robbie Baillargeon next anyone ?

I can’t comment on Golovkovs but for me Kovacs only scored as many points as he did last year was because he was being carried by Guptill

Very quick, great pair of hands, not sure he’s a ‘team’ player. Wallace knows him and so he fills a role for you. Don’t think you can really assess the squad until a few games into the season, or for you guys December!

If someone who got 40ish points on the worst team in the league at 23 is on our third line, I have no objection to this.
I don’t recall a lot of him i will admit but he played KHL at a young age again. Much like Deutsch. Wallace obviously spent a lot of time with him and gave the green light to get him on board so that’s good enough for me

Plus he’s at a great age. Like you say, Wallace wanted him on board and having coached him last season he’ll have a good appreciation of his skill set.

Been a few we could’ve said that about recently- Jade Galbraith and David Ling to name but two. A good coach would put such players on a line with players to offset their deficiencies and compliment their skills/strengths. Ling with Benedict/Graham and Galbraith with Myers/Clarke. I’d still have Guptill back, he was/is a game changer.

Ling and Guptill cannot be mentioned in the same breath.

Was he actually a problem though and was his attitude a problem? Or is this just another myth perpetuated by social media keyboard warriors and fake ITK’s?
