'Panthers' perceived apathy to injuries' will be tested by www.panthers.co.uk/home/kevin-henderson-to-miss-46-weeksThey don't mean 46 weeks, it should read 4 to 6 Should he be replaced ?. Assuming you start looking 'for the right player' now, it could take a week to find some-one, a week to sort out the paperwork, a week to get here, a week to learn the systems etc. all worse case scenarios, so I think no, we don't bring some-one in. Very good of Panthers to list the injury absence so quickly.... They seem to be listening to the fans for a change.

Is this one of those incidents where we could ask for a review due to the injury. A blatant slash to the wrist by Blood?

I wouldn't expect a new in to cover this injury nor would I want one. Which decent player would up sticks for a 4 week stint in a different country?
This could disrupt team moral anyway.

I hope Panthers have/Are putting in 2 reviews from yesterday. The slash on Kevin and the hit on Rissling

We’re currently resting one player as it is so there won’t be a new player coming, this is Doty’s chance to make an impression after being left out, which I’m sure he will. Once Rheault is back we will have another player spare which is good stuff from the club, it’s just a shame we couldn’t have started with them spare, but it’s a learning process for Rich.
Props to the club for announcing Hendo’s estimated recovery time, now see the good work through and request a review on Blood’s antics.
In the next game with Cardiff I’ll be dissapointed if nobody sends a message to Blood, his actions deserve consequences.

No mention of Billingsley though, which is worrying. 🤨

No mention of Billingsley though, which is worrying. 🤨 Yes I forgot about Tim, let’s hope his withdrawal was just a precaution and we hear something. I don’t know if you saw the game yesterday but Tetlow played well and looked solid, would you be content if we gave him Billingsley’s ice time, as long as it’s only a short term injury?

If it's managed well then I'd be content. Chernomaz seems very happy to play Tetlow regularly in tight games, yesterday for example, Tetlow was on quite a lot. Great to see and I hope that continues, I hope Billingsley is back soon though.

Colour me cynical, but I don't believe a ruddy word of that list of automatic reviews... I expect nothing more than a deafening silence from DOP(e)S.

“All injury situations regardless of on ice call” Can’t see how Blood will escape a ban from that incident then.

What incident exactly buddy. Watch Panthers highlights, 6:55 Blood intentionally checks/interferes with Hendo when the puck is nowhere near him. I’d expect a ban coming for Saint Ben.

What does checks/ interferes with exactly mean wgray just interested. As for Saint Ben, he certainly ain’t that, he is a agitator like Doty, Noble, Springer, Riley etc.

If Henderson had control of the puck in that passage of play then it would be fine, but he didn’t. He might be an agitator, like the players you mention, but at least they will and have answered the bell this season.

How’s this Iginla, was waiting for this response in fairness, as these others will answer the bell, still waiting to see if Blood will, after watching him week in week out, and knowing what Lordo demands, It ain’t going to happen unless there’s no alternative, he is too important on the ice. We all have our views and priorities, Blood is a very good d man, and a very good agitator, but it ends there methinks.

No doubting he’s a good player, I just like people who agitate to back up their actions sometimes, as I’m sure you do. I’d bite your arm off Faryna, he’s an agitator in his style of play, he hits everything, he’s aggressive, in people’s faces, add in his goal scoring touch and what a player he is. Anyway, Blood playing for you and winding us fans up is only a good think because it adds more to our rivalry. I’m looking forward to our next game already!

Very good haha you’re learning nicely. 👍 As for Ben Blood,I think we should nickname him “Darryl” from now on. 😁

Spot on buddy, I also are with you, agitate but back it up, Lloyd of Belfast always done my head in, create the problem, then disappear. He plays a role, he hits, he scores, he is a good d man, and that’s it. Hope our next encounter will be a belter.

Iginla Darryl was what I meant, thank you. As for Faryna then sod off he is ours, a true warrior, spoke to him tonight, and can’t wait for him to be back on the ice. He is my modern day of Doug McEwen, different player in everyway but just as heartwarming
