Given Dundee are out of it, I wouldn't expect too much resistance tbh. Panthers by a couple.

3-1 up now, late second. That and Giants losing will secure top 4, given we'll trounce Caps tomorrow.

3-2, last minute of the period, who saw that coming? Surprising, we never take penalties in the last two minutes of a period. Not

It’s been corrected apparently; two minutes for abuse of official.

It's still cost us a 5-on-3, and the equalizing goal.

It would be interesting to know how many time Sauves penalties have resulted in goals against

Won 4-3. Top 4 in the bag, provided we don't embarrass ourselves tomorrow.

It would be interesting to know how many time Sauves penalties have resulted in goals against Well none of Sauve's penalties were washed for goals scored, Gagnon got scored on for both of his penalties.

It’s been corrected apparently; two minutes for abuse of official. It was read out as unsportsmanlike comduct at the start of the 3rd, but the ref definitely signalled Abuse of Official at the time.

Decent win. We’ll get top half now and the advantage of the second leg wherever we want it. Which after last season, is a bonus.

Whilst I would hope Panthers could beat Edinburgh in their current form isn't talk as if they'd already lost a little presumptuous?

Whilst I would hope Panthers could beat Edinburgh in their current form isn't talk as if they'd already lost a little presumptuous? Absoloutly it is. Those of us that have made comments of the like may end up with egg on our face, but not as much as Panthers if they do lose. You never know, they did beat the Giants not to long back. It's not entirely unreasonable to be that way with this current Caps team though either.

Very true in the case of Five but nothing to stop either team travelling the day before. But in the case of Belfast, with them playing the Friday, do we play the 2nd Leg on The Saturday or do The Sunday?

It would be interesting to know how many time Sauves penalties have resulted in goals against I know the answer to this, I’ll reveal all tomorrow, if I remember... Up to 25 Feb at least (sorry, I've been away and need to catch up a bit...) a minor penalty to Sauve alone had resulted in 5 PPGs against. All 5 away from home. 2 vs Steelers on 14 October (one the GTG in the last minute). The OT losing goal in Manchester on 16 December. Steelers' first (and thus game winning) goal on Boxing Day Flyers' first on 28 January. On 30 December at home to Blaze, Sauve and Billingsley were both in the box for Blaze's second goal. 3 other Panthers players have had 3 PPGs scored on their penalties. (Lee, Brisebois, Bussieres). Given the icetime he logs, and the fact that he's pretty much always first on the PK when needed, I'm not overly surprised.
