I ll pencil in the game down in bisonland then for a rare away trip these days. Looking forward to seeing Trev ice for us. Its a shame GM can t twist the gaffas at straubing and ask for him to be released a week earlier

Just so you know.
Mr Gallant MUST ice 6 league games for you to qualify for the playoffs. Should there be any kind of hold up and he does not make his 6 he will not be eligable to ice in the playoffs.

Paperwork has been in place for weeks, we re just waiting for him tplay his last game for Straubing then hes ours, the hardest thing he has to do his get his ass on a plane ;D ;D There shouldn t be any hold up. P.s. won t the same thing apply to whoever you sign, hence in your position nothing has been signed

We HAVE sined a player mate, As long as you've not cosined him.... sharing his registration would be against the rules surely - even in the EIHL! Mind you, knowing Vez, with a bit of provocation, he'll soon go off at a tangent....... ;D

So Nem, hypothetical question - If Gallant is in Nottingham to play on 10th March (giving him the requisite 6 games to play) what would happen if he got injured or suspended and missed a game - would that mean he would not be able to play in the play- offs?

We HAVE sined a player mate, and, having lost tonight he will ice on Friday. Somehow I find that impossible thats soon as the said players only got eliminated from their play offs last night, he may have verbally agreed to sign but had his team won last night then by the time the next game in the series is, he wouldn t be able to fly over til after the weekend hence not being able to play his 6 games with sheff Your best bet is from him to fax sheffield his signature

Pidge, does Mr Gallants absence from your line up mean you have not signed him? - No.
Vezio signed last week, all paperwork complete. He is on a plane this morning and will play Friday.

His situation is different to Vez`s as his season finishes on the 4th March guaranteed as his team missed out on the play offs. Wheres as how did you know last week that VS`s team will be eliminated on the wed the week after ?, just giving him enough time to play the minimum 6 games required, explain p.s. I guess you ll need him now Sutter is out

We didn't but Mattie took the chance and pre-registered him anyway. It was a gamble, however, luckily for us this time it paid off. The paperwork has all been agreed in principle and will be completed today. Vez is on his way having already packed and will start against you lot Friday. All this is confirmed by Dave Matsos at the press conf last night after the game.

Trevor may be here Friday if his team release him early They only have to play the top team & the bottom team and results will not efect any league positions so they may let him come early. ?

Trevor may be here Friday if his team release him early They only have to play the top team & the bottom team and results will not effect any league positions so they may let him come early. ? I think the wording I have herd is Panthers requested him earlier, His current team agreed but it was Trevor himself who wanted to finish the season in full. Plus panthers have saved £X amount by sacking Simoes and Mopes. Have only spent £Z by Ellis playing. This leaves £Y in the kitty for Trevor to collect. So in essence he is signing for a fixed amount, not a weekly salary. So knowing this would you stay in the DEL and earn an extra weeks wages and then collect your Lump sum from Mr Black? Be all and end all he is a sportsman and that has a short lifespan. So getting as much money as you can in short a period of time is the key to success.

Can Ellis de-register at anytime in order for Gallant to take his place if released early? Or does he have to play a minimum number of games before hand?
