Good news that we have another coming in today.
CN said that the bottom 6 is sorted so how are we looking so far? Obviously just guess work at this stage especially as I don't think it's been confirmed where Lindhagen will play.
Something like this maybe?
1st Line- IMPORT IMPORT IMPORT (I hope we sign a "1st line" this year with 3 expensive looking players on it, we already have grit and youth, we are the Nottingham Panthers and we should have some wow CV's in the roster, we already have 1 with Garnett).
2nd Line- FARMER IMPORT BUSSIÈRES (From the highlights it looks like he likes to cut in from the right wing)
3rd Line- LINDHAGEN BROWN CLARKE
4th Line- MOKSHANTSEV LACHOWICZ BETTERIDGE
13th forward- KELSALL
1st Line D- IMPORT (LEPINE, SMABY or similar) IMPORT (Expensive looking CV and ideally able to be a right shot D on Powerplay)
2nd Line D- SPANG BILLINGSLEY
3rd Line D- IMPORT (Steady, no nonsense stay at home D, preferably with decent speed) LEE
7th D- TETLOW
Starting NM- GARNETT
Back up NM- ZAKHARCHENKO
Back up NM- GOSPEL (Guessing Gospel will be back up in most domestic fixtures unless we are short of import limit).

Depending on the incoming imports I would say it they sound about right and agree that we need to still sign a top line. A new D man is going to be announced in 10mins hopefully it's a good one.

We lack an engorcer with that set up. This is where the resigning of lindhargen comes into question.

I really hope Lindhagen has been signed to be a bottom 6 forward rather than a D man. If he has been signed to play D then i'm certainly worried about the size and quality on D.
That's 3 right shot D men signed now so maybe Billingsley is 1st line? His CV is solid rather than spectacular so I hope he is a pleasant surprise.
1st Line- IMPORT IMPORT IMPORT
2nd Line- FARMER IMPORT BUSSIÈRES
3rd Line- LINDHAGEN BROWN CLARKE
4th Line- MOKSHANTSEV LACHOWICZ BETTERIDGE
13th forward- KELSALL
1st Line D- IMPORT BILLINGSLEY
2nd Line D- SPANG LEE
3rd Line D- IMPORT BRISEBOIS
7th D- TETLOW
Starting NM- GARNETT
Back up NM- ZAKHARCHENKO
Back up NM- GOSPEL
For me we need 4 high quality point scoring forwards and 2 big stay at home left shot D men.

The line up so far looks seriously weak. Even if we sign absolute crackers for the last 4 forwards, we still look massively short on goals. If we line up as FTM's suggestion, we're pretty much playing one line hockey, with 3 holding lines who we're expecting to chip in occasionally. With the D we've signed so far which doesn't look very good at all, we'd need to be scoring loads of goals to stand a chance, and at the moment there are nowhere near enough goals in the team. As well as no toughness.
The team looks worse than last season, which was worse than the season before...and that wasn't very good either.
There's only Garnett so far you'd say wasn't a Fife/Caps/Dundee/Storm level signing.
I've no idea what's going on behind the scenes at Panthers - but this is exactly why I don't get a season ticket anymore.

I disagree with you on toughness, currently we have Brown, Farmer, Bussieres and Lee who all can drop the gloves, if we had two big grizzly defenders with one being our enforcer then I think we'll have one of the toughest teams in the league. I agree with you to an extent about scoring, but I think if we add a true playmaking centre to the second line it will produce. The third line will give us goals from Clarke and Brown whilst Lindhagen can chip in, then the fourth line could turn out to be a masterful combination from Corey, but it depends on Mokshantsev's ability and whether or not him and Lacho can click. There's a lot of ifs, buts and maybes involved but I think it looks promising, Bussieres and Mokshantsev could surprise a lot of people with their ability and output.

I know no one likes him, but his Periscopes are quite good and informative. Simms.
Today, he commented on our signing today and our roster overall. He classed all of our guys besides Garnett as 'steady eddy signings' with Garnett being superb, and expects our remaining 6 to be 'studs' and we're getting our bottom end signings out the way first.
People can say 'he's just winding us up' but he did honestly say it in quite a serious manner, not inflicting any jokes or making light of anything.
He also mentioned that Mosey will not be returning to Rockford and could end up back here, though I feel he'll be attending camps throughout September so I wouldn't get hopes up too soon.

I personally feel like if we are going with something like I've suggested and 5/6 or 6/6 of the remaining signings are top drawer then we'll be competitive.
If the last lot are more of the same type of CV's then I see another season of unexciting hockey and a mid table finish unfortunately.
Obviously hoping we sign some new Ling's Fox's and Beauregards and go for the league.

Stop moaning Pidge You've got the quality to come yet ! Whats your definition of quality? A forward coming off a 30 goal season in a decent league ? Depends what his job is. But for what we need now. Players with solid experience,a good resume, decent points output in good leagues, ideally aged 28-32 years old if he's a forward. Or if he's a dman. Experienced, good size, one tough and hard and one real quality guy all round who can also run a power play, ideally both 28-34 years old. We've got the young ones, now we need some brains, skill, nous and know how up front and two stud Dmen at the back.

Nah FTM You want Phillips on that 2nd line with Farmer and Bussy 😉 I do yeah. The PR states fairly clearly that he will be on the 1st line. I agree though, a 2nd line of Farmer Phillips and Bussieres would look good, especially if Phillips and Bussieres have played together before.

Not bad but Panthers need at least 2 bona fide centres and ones who are good in the face off circle .
Phillips will excel only with 2 wingers who will feed off him well. I don't see Bussieries as the high scoring winger for him though.
We need someone like Mark Derlago with him who still didn't appear to have a team for next season!

I'd like us to get Dane Fox that a few have mentioned in here. On the Farmer Bussieres line that would cause havoc
Ling esc player to go with Phillips and a DAB type to slot them home As far as I can make out and I don't want to try and assume wages but phillips and garnett look like the only big pay days we've got, the rest are ECHL money which if you research isn't a great deal. Let's spend big on the two remaining first line slots, second line centre and remaining d man
