Hopefully this will help us in tying down Williams, Nikiforuk and Lindhagen.
Going to need some very good recruitment and with Dimmen & Waugh finishing their Uni Deals, we will have at least those two opportunities to bargain with.
Don't want any temps, just want a complete 22 man roster with perhaps a spare Brit or two.
Would love to win another game and hopefully not lose by 10+ again but even if we don't win a game and do lose by 10+ again, it'll still be an awesome experience once again. Hoping we get drawn against another German side and hopefully someone from Switzerland.

Fan bloody tastic news.
Hopefully the EIHL retains it's league winners spot too.

Good stuff. Hopefully we just sign a good permanent roster with a spare import and get them in early.
Have a cracking pre season and make a real challenge for the EIHL title.

Very excited for this, the team will have to be seriously improved if we are serious about even attempting to get out of the group but that's for another time. Anyway I think there could be some good crowds at the NIC this time around, hopefully we draw some teams with nice destinations

Yes a spare import and a couple and an extra full time Brit please. (Plus a couple on two ways would be nice)

Should be treated as good preparation for the LEAGUE campaign.. period !!!
Don't expect top players to be brought in though. Now they have to find the money to bring the roster in 2 weeks earlier at least!! Then there's the travel into Europe. I'd actually expect the team to be of similar quality as this year..and that's bang average !!
I'm expecting some player (s) to arrive one week and depart the next... this club don't know how to learn by their mistakes
But it gives the fans another jolly into Europe so some are happy eh

That's a nice little £100k extra profit to pay for the couple of away jaunts. Nice little earner for Panthers actually if the draw is kind to us and we get easy to get to away travel ! 😉

They like collecting money but not spending it. Unfortunately I've seen it all before. They should follow Sheffields lead last year. They approached it spot on. A competitive team all in ready for the CHL and one which was more than good enough to dominate out LEAGUE

With regards what teams we ll get drawn against. It's pretty much guaranteed we ll play either a Swedish team or Finnish one as they ll in pot 1 for the draw. There's around 7 SEL teams and about 6 Liiga teams without looking. Unless you play a team in the capital or at a major city those teams cab be tricky to get to.

No idea how the draw works. Whilst whatever seeding we get isn't going to be good enough to avoid top teams, does being CC champions give us a slightly better seed than being EIHL champions?

Very good news, but I said two weeks ago that I can almost confirm that we'd be in it.
Sounds like this Pidge guy isn't ever happy ^ Never seen such negative dribble ever. Our team are 'far' from average but our D are knackered to be fair. I'm still not sure why we've never replaced Oakford or Kudroc. I think it's time for EIHL teams to start taking the group stage a bit more serious - depending on the draw.

But I doubt Sheffield would complain as they could then concentrate on winning another league title!!
