The home match against the Caps on Monday the 2nd of Jan has been brought forward to a 4pm FO to meet popular demand. The match now clashes with the Nottingham Forest home match which is a 3pm kick off. So if somebody has a ticket for this Panthers game and also Forest or another event....are Panthers going to reimburse people ?

If they've moved a game due to popular demand, it will be more popular if someone leaves(maybe 100% popular). Hi, if your reading this.

If this is so,i have paid for games on my season ticket and i want the amount of games i paid for. If i now can't make it,the game i want to replace this Edinburgh game is.........the home leg of the Challenge Cup semi final against Sheffield !

No chance of that Iggy.
Normally I'd say ST holders have to lump this, because when we sign up we don't know any of the face off times, but the change here is so late that plenty of us could've coughed up for other stuff which would've been before the game, is he going to reimburse stuff like that? Didn't think so.
Moran out.

I think we have to accept that sometimes games get moved. For concerts etc...so this has to be taken into consideration when buying a ST at the start.....whilst this game time move seems a little odd even after what seems like an unusual reason. You will have to remember these things when they next go out on sale.

This has made me now change my plans, not to attend the game but to attend the Trust meeting, three of us will now be in attendance thanks to this farce. Things need to change.

Ya know what. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the idiots at Panthers HQ didn't even realise there was a Forest game ! LOL

If anything it helps. Move the meeting to 6:30pm and get people in leaving the game, this works for 2 reasons: 1) More people are around after a game, having a meeting at 6pm before a 7pm start you'd miss a lot of people who get to games just before they start as they would miss this meeting anyway. This gives you chance to reach those people. 2) People have already planned to be out until gone 9pm to attend this game, they attend the meeting at 6:30 and even if it runs for 2 hours they're home earlier than they normally would be. Win win. Decent shout, see you there then? Unfortunately not, got a newbie coming to the game and I'm not sure she would want to attend that (and no, Jord doesn't have to worry about another playoff ticket fiasco type situation hahaha). Will happily wait for more details to emerge from the meetings though

A blatant attempt to stick 2 fingers up at the Supporters Trust IMO.
No questions asked to the fans, no fans happy about the change so it's just another lie from the club by trying to say otherwise.
Sums up the GM... his teams fans are upset and disappointed by the club so he tries to quash it rather than listen.

Would the panthers really go to these lengths changing a FO time of a game just so it clashes with a supporters meeting? If so what would their sole objective be ?

I can't honestly believe that this change is because of the ST.
This move has annoyed a lot of the fanbase and will ultimately cost the club quite a lot of money so surely they wouldn't have moved it unless it was for an important reason.

What other reason? Oh yeah, popular demand, despite being widely unpopular everywhere.
And 2 days after the leafleting with the ST meeting time on it...
If he'd said it was because the arena is cheaper at 4 I'd have believed him.

Surely deliberately clashing with a Forest home game, moving the face off time at such late notice and annoying loads of the fan base must have been done for a good reason.
The time change is no big deal for the Supports Trust. The article going in tomorrow's evening post has the new time on it. New leaflets are already designed and in production for distribution before the Sheffield game.
If anything the change of time should mean that even more people can attend the meeting. It might even mean that more want to as in PantherG's case.

Their definition of "important" and that of everyone else probably differs quite a bit... but I agree, it does sound a little unlikely that this is due to your meeting - which is easily moved (much easier than moving a game, or fans' plans changing). The most credible suggestion so far surely has to be the arena cost one? Although I have to wonder... would the money saved from that (assuming that's the case, of course) actually exceed what they'd lose from fans not attending due to the change? Pass... this one is a bit of a head-scratcher.

Bank Holiday Monday and they have sold 3 tickets for a Caps game and in desperation they have tried in their minds to time it a bit better in the hope of getting more people (plus saving Bank Holiday overtime rates at the arena) and it's turned into a bit of a faux pas on an even Panthers topping monumental scale.

This is mildly interesting I must admit. If, and it appears possible, this change is due to the ST meeting then well bloody done to those involved.
Actions speak louder than words, has a flyer of a meeting really made GM change this fixture...?!?!
That's pretty awesome & also from the clubs point of view utterly embarrassing.

Just a thought.... what's the chances of GM getting Bunkers Hill shut for the day?
I'm sure a couple of players signing fees reserved from 'the budget' for the injury panic in February can be spent on this venture instead.....

What a joke.
Won't be attending this game now due to the time change. Due to popular demand? Such a joke. I've seen ONE person happy that the time has changed and that's because he works a night shift and now he'll be able to attend the match and be at work on time. He didn't request the time be changed though, he had just accepted that he couldn't go, like 99% of our fans would do.
As a relatively new fan - I've forgiven the Panthers in the past for pulling off some crap that made the general fanbase unhappy but it's becoming 'too much' now - they're liars, they're cheats, they'll do anything to penny pinch from us and throw us crap. I'm crossing my fingers for the trust - WE deserve better than this.

There is a poll on Twitter by Paul Balm. So far out of 280 votes 58% wanted the face off to stay at 7.30.
Not as cut and dried as people's opinions on here, but like has been said using the "popular opinion" card is just plain daft.
