I'd stick something on any of the Panthers Facebook Fan Pages (GMB Nottingham Panthers/Nottingam Panthers Lair etc..) As there's a lot of disgruntled folk on there who i'm sure would happily attend or show interest.
I'd advise getting some kind of makeshift leaflet set up from Microsoft Word/Powerpoint so that can be posted as a photo which includes details, where, why, when, aims, plans etc.. Just to show that the effort will be put in and it won't be a flop with nobody attending, got to look the part and catch the eyes and imagination.

So the supporters trust is gaining a lot of interest.
You can get involved via Whatsapp. Just send me your name and number via a message on here.
There is also a Twitter account now running @npsupporters
Facebook page can be found by searching for NottinghamPanthersSupportersTrust
Feel free to ask any questions that you might have.

Anyone should be able to band together as a group of friends in an endeavour to build on their interests in something. What I'd suggest is to keep it simple and not get antagonistic or offensive. It's just about you and the sport. Be seperate or you'll be roped on to affiliation and handing dosh over. If its to be non profit and non competitive you can have some fun going it.

We're certainly not looking to be remotely aggressive. One of the main aims of the trust will be to improve communication between the fans and the club. It's certainly not going to be a closed group for a bunch of friends though. It will be set up as a supporters trust with a democratically elected board. Please do send me a message if you'd like more information.

I've been involved in many a thing (mainly this sport) in the past and less likely to be an organiser of such larger (if it gets that way) things these days but more likely a bit part player if help is needed. Good luck with it anyway.I will PM you.

Ok Panthers fans.
A lot of talk on this thread from earlier in the season and now it's time for some action. Hopefully all of those of you who said you would like to get involved will be at the meeting. It's confirmed as 7pm at the Bunkers Hill, this Friday.
Please feel free to post any topics you would like to see covered.
Also, I'll be at the NIC for this evenings match so come and say hello with any questions.
Cheers

Ok, so, I have done some research into the setting up and running of a supporters trust. In British sports, a supporters' trust is a formal, democratic and not-for-profit organisation of fans who attempt to strengthen the influence of supporters over the running of the club they support. There are over 140 supporters' trusts across England, Wales and Scotland and the majority of these are affiliated to football clubs, however trusts also exist for Rugby League and Rugby Union clubs.I'm 100% up for committing some time and money into this. Who is with me? I'm in. Are you going to be with us on Friday?

I'm not a freqent Poster by any means, but having said that I have voiced opinions about my personal dissatisfaction with the club several times, a club that I am extremely passionate about! I would be more than happy to sign up to this with you FTM. I'm not sure about the level of positive impact that can be achieved from it but I am more than willing to help and try. Are you attending the meeting on Friday?

Sounds a plan ftm, but it would need clearly defined goals and not an agenda/chip otherwise it will fail from the off. I guess if its going down the democratic route this would need to be agreed by the majority and have defined endpoints.. But in principle I think its a good idea... Are you coming along on Friday Tex?
