Kirk and Shudra don't really count as they're 'apprentices' so they will get very little game time if any at all. They're practically on 21 players but have enough for 4 lines. |

We could play the whole season short and still sell 2500 season tickets..... Hang on , that happened last season.
Imagine how many tickets we'd sell if we actually went for it? We'd have to build a bigger arena.

We'd have to build a bigger arena. This is what i don't get with Panthers. A winning team brings crowds in and considering how much Panthers like making money,it amazes me they don't "go for it" more often. Look at the second half of the grand slam season,the crowds were massive....speculate and put a great team on the ice and even more money will flow in. |

Well, they need to get their fingers out now. With Janssen not returning we now need another forward as well as a dman. Why can't the Panthers ever hang on to their best players? Almost all other clubs seem to keep the core of quality season after season, we have a virtually new team every year.

Because Simmsey is bang right when he says "Nottingham is a retirement home" for players. Look how many players have done exactly that the last few years.....a lot ! |

So with just over 2 weeks to the first game, Panthers still need those 2 player's.... anyone concerned No not really as I would expect there are names of players who are interested in joining the team. Training camps for NHL teams aren't underway yet & invariably when they're done, they have a knock on effect with AHL, ECHL teams. Panthers' website has for a very long time, been poor & that subject has been done to death on this very fan site. I'll be there watching, regardless of whether there's a full contingent of players or we're X short. |
