quality addition looks to be a playmaker on the blueline exactly what we needed after learning how well Quick and MacDonald transformed us when they came in last year
looks to have played with Bohmer and Waugh in the last few seasons which can only be a good thing
pleased with this signing
highlights 12/13 season -

Another non-work permit too presumably.
Should be used to European officiating too, so good news for Blacky's Euro quest.

The players we still have to replace are Kolnik, Schmit and Quick. Then i can see Bohmbach coming in at Christmas since his studying ends then.

I'd love to see Quick back.

Solid signing, should be a big boost on the PP. Lots of experience, solid +/- stats and he was an Alternate for 2 years with Medvescak Zagreb, which obviously doesn't just happen to an ordinary player.
Patience has paid off though, will be a big help at the back offensively and defensively. Hopefully Dimmen can get a bit more luck and allow his offensive side to come out too. I'd like Quick, Kolnik and Schmidt back.. We'll hear about it if Kolnik retires for sure and the same for Schmidt. I'd like Schmidt as an injury cover, doesn't seem to be in any rush to return to the states so perhaps he's intent on staying in the UK, wouldn't hurt to give him a rolling contract.

Looks a good signing.
Can't see the Macdonald comparison though,he looks like Quick's replacement to me.

Looks mobile, skates well, good at creating his own chances too. Hopefully he can be a key player to boost our Powerplay.

Not really, and not at the player either way.

Looks a decent pick up. We needed a bit of quality to replace MacDonald and (potentially) Quick. This guy seems to fit the bill.

Sizing him up, he strikes me most as similar in play & physical frame to Eric Werner.
With him & Dimmen both being similar, I'd hope for the next d-man to be a 6'2''+ 200-220lbs stay-at-home 'stud'.

What has happened to the Panthers Cage Forum - I have just come on and find that a team has signed a new player, and there are no posts from the usual suspects to say how underwhelmed they are - what has happened to the Forum whilst I have been away? - am I in the wrong place or have the MODS banned everyone else? For my 10p looks like a good signing

Yeah people have been positive but you have to remember when Carter and brown signed we had just lost mosey Myers and bombach and heard kolnik may be leaving. Perhaps a case of potentially good signing at a bad time? People knew we had lost some very good players and the players coming in were wait and see players. I think all three could be excellent signings but I'm hoping the best players are yet to come.

In very excited about Sertich. Watching the video, he gets into some good spaces and makes plays happen.
This is a stud signing. He seems like he wants to be here if the article about money is true (always take that with a pinch of salt) and his experience in Europe will help with the continental cup. Having someone who knows how those refs operate is key (having seen what's happened in the past)

Good signing, appears to have good leadership qualifies and can man the power play. Be interesting to see who this player is that wants to come in. Wonder if it's a player from seasons back or a player who's played with a few of the current roster?

One of only a few signings over multiple seasons with no negative comments. Clearly a great signing and should be fantastic for us. Sods law he'll end up a dud not a stud.
