The latest Old Time Hockey UK Podcast, episode 29 with former Panthers Chuck Taylor. In today’s show I talk to former Solihull Barons, Telford Tigers and Nottingham Panthers D Man, Chuck Taylor. Although born in London in 1961, Chuck was raised in Saskatchewan in Canada before returning to the UK in 1982 when he signed for the Solihull Barons. Chuck arrived in the UK in November of that year after a move to Germany had fallen through, he didn’t know anything about hockey in the UK, but decided to give it a go anyway. Fast forward to 1994 – 95 and Chuck goes into detail of how his move to the Nottingham Panthers came about, his two very enjoyable years as “just a player" and how he and Panthers coach Mike Blaisdell ended his Panthers contract with a month to go of the 1995 – 96 season. You can listen to the full Podcast interview on our website here: Old Time Hockey UK or You can download the Podcast to your iPhone here: iTunesor if on Android you can download the Podcast here: Stitcher RadioYou may also want to check out my other Podcast interviews, i.e. Podcast episode 27 Todd Bidnerand also Podcast episode 28 Jason Wood

Great stuff!!! Really love these interviews thanks Kens Glad you like them, I love doing them, the only downside is that, with my work current commitments, they take 3 - 4 weeks to edit and produce - just recorded a new one earlier today, that's 4 in the can! I may have to re-name them, Mr April, Mr May, Mr June etc etc and yes at least one is another former Panthers player
