Still need a heavy weight. I wouldn't be too sad if it was westgarth tbh, or someone of that ilk. Or maybe another top skill man and a cheap goon?

I'm going for the next signing being Mike Ouellette....so many connections with Panthers players and played with Brad Moran last year in Austria.
The last import,I would go with a Salters type tough power forward rather than an out and out tough guy.

A Salters type player next please... Under-30, can chip in with goals but an intimidator who doesn't just drop the gloves for the hell of it

Not on this EMB no,I'm just guessing.....look at Ouellette's past teamates though,it's a fair bet.
But as you know,I don't guess normally !

Looking at the free agents in Austria... I'd fancy Darren Haydar , then surely the money we are saving playing a man down would leave cash in the pot for a game changer following AHL kick outs

Get big Tuukka in. Free agent. Doesn't need a visa. Left shot. Knows the club and the systems.
If and it is starting to look like an increasingly big IF Peckham turns up you can review it. We wouldn't be over the import limit anyway.

Wouldn't surprise me if Peckham didn't come in the end....

Wouldn't mind having Makela as a short term, he was decent enough but as he wasn't here long it was difficult to judge him accuratly. He did have a few fights whilst with us, mainly re-ignigting old rivalries, one being Nickerson.
If Peckham is definitley coming still then we might not sign anyone, put Mosey back in defence for a few games and get another young brit on a short term try out to slot into the 4th line?

Why are people so sure he's not coming all of a sudden? We've had this before.

There's players from other clubs who are struggling to get the paperwork together, everyone relax
