Thought Higgins had a great game and his last goal was awesome, he would have been my MOM. I also think Braehead would be a good team if they focused on playing instead of trying to goon it up. In this league there is no need to have Fitzgerald, Frank and Salters on the same team. Especially two of them being on D too. My god does Finnerty love to have a moan. The 3 Fs have been an embarassment to hockey with the cheapshottery...they will seriously injure someone..i feel sorry for their fans as they dont need to play so dirty...however whilst their seem to be a majority of 'win at any cost' fans ( including many fellow Fife fans) these buffoon tactics will continue..its not for me though..i like toughness not cheating...this is why I dont the Clan to win anything cos its not sport.

Another excellent performance that and without Wild,Clarke and Lee too, impressive stuff indeed. When Graham is fit,who the heck do you leave out ! Perent, Berube, Graham in that order.

I don't think there'll ever be a point when absolutely everyone is for. We'll always have a niggle somewhere. Can also use players dependent on the game type.
However as it stands I wouldn't mess with our D. They've been our best asset all year and the main reason we're joint 2nd

Graham for me. Lawrence does his work & way more. Parent is a goodish deterrent.

Great win, great team performance totally unrecognisable from a few weeks ago. Amazing what competition for places can do. Even kwall stepping it up to the next level. Thank god we make significant changes, we still have a shot at this, win every game and we'll do it!

When Parent and Graham are back I would sit Parent and Graham.
Why change winning team?

Whilst it might not seem like it, Graham is actually our 2nd highest point scorer... We have a whole team of very equal abilities this year and everyone contributes to the point scoring. Corey has some tough decisions on his hands.

Excellent performance. Feared the worst when Salters steamed his way through on Kwall twice early doors (was like a bowling ball nailing pins out of the way), but after the equaliser both teams looked different teams, us better them worse!
What does Chris Higgins have to do to get MOTM? He was a joy to watch, again, tonight. Wanted the puck all the time, and made it work. Saying that though, Doucet is fantastic. Cohen just made it look so easy.
Well played Panthers. Well played indeed.
The less said about GM the better though. Makes you realise what a great tandem we normally have in Ken & Stef.

The main reason he sees 'nothing to worry about' is because he knows he only has to play us 4 times a season....

What a guy....
"Any momentum was quickly killed off any time we were building any and you can’t win if you spend the night killing penalties."
Says the coach of the team with 913 penalty minutes this season, averaging just under 25 minutes a game.
I will tell him this for nothing, if that does not improve, suspensions and losing games when you spend more than a period in the box, will cost him the league title.

... my personal thoughts during the evening was that the Clan were deliberately killing our momentum by engaging the ref in conversation at, what seemed like, every stoppage in play.
Regarding penalties, they took 7 to our 3 in the first (1 coincidental) 2 to our 3 in the second, then 1 each in the 3rd. A total of 9 to 6 PP's
The calls were not as one-sided as Finnerty might suggest.

Not sure he suggested that just at the wrong time of the game. They had some momentum in the 2nd and seemed to get a penalty at the same time. With the goal called back and a quick response from panthers, killed any momentum off. Looked at their PIMS the last 10 games, they are one of the least penalized in their last 10 so not sure you can say they are goons. They have team toughness which if other teams want to take them on may cause some damage which for the do gooders is still a big part of the game. Bit of life but will come down to how we do away from the arena.

Really not understanding why you are singling out Berube getting beat by Salters especially when Cohen was beat up the boards by him at least 4,times that I can remember or the half dozen times that Landry got beat by that exact same player at least 4 times. Salters has speed especially coming off the face off......the only reason I can see that you haven't mentioned the others is because Kwall made saves on those times. So the only time you see getting beat up the boards as a negative is when it ends up in the net. How amateur
