I like Parent over the last few games. Me to. He has stepped up his game a bit. Unfortunately we are just scoring too few goals and the import forward are the main reason for that IMHO. It was between him and Benedict for the chop for me and Benny has the history to suggest that he can score points at a good rate in the EIHL. It would be interesting to see the existing forwards with a couple of proper play makers helping to set things up.

I'm sure a slip up in writing but to not upset our opponents fans...'if we get into the CUP semi's' we have 20 games (I think) per programme. But we assume that we should get there.Twenty is enough as it is ,

Who would you axe and what players would you bring in? Out Jacina Parent Berube In Robinson or other creative winger Power Forward Goal Scoring Centre Big Physical D man Pretty much how i see it mate. Would give Parent a bit longer though and I think/hope that Graham will become the Goal Scoring Centre we need if we get Robinson back and they play on the same line with Benedict.

If Panther were to go all the way CC and playoffs, 31 elite league game 4 CC games and 4 playoff game =39 games in 115 days, thats 1 game every 3 days, we need extra players not rid of players

3 of our import forwards are scoring at a horrendously lot rate.
Out of the 3 Benedict is the one I would keep.

This years team is totally different to previous seasons, in many ways it's more like a workman-like Steelers team of a few years ago.
We are built around defence this year so the goals output is going to be lower, having said that, the goals have started to flow a bit more regularly.
Cut no-one but add a spare if available.

So it was Benedict (3), Graham (2), Farmer and Lawrence, like the official site says? I don't get how the league can get stuff like that wrong, surely the people you've heard announce the goal change are the ones filling in the gamesheet?

The Robinson back to Panthers 'rumour' has been said again this week, Mr Black said he'd have 'expected him (Robo) to be back before christmas' back when he had to return to Germany. If you look at it all then it does add up and suggest he may return. He's still unsigned, spent a while training with a German 3rd Division team, some people inc. Mr Black expect him to be back.. He's a top guy and player as we all know so why hasn't he been signed by anyone else? Could easily make a decent to top level side in the DEL. In my opinion i think he's already signed and will be back before the games on the 21st/22nd.

.... so having had a short-term work permit/visa of 3(?) months, what is the waiting time before you can apply again? It was supposed to be 3 weeks, that would've been up on the 2nd December. I'm not too sure how these things work but maybe there is a waiting time for his new visa to come through and then Panthers to sort out all the transfers and everything so thinking about it, i'd say this weekend would be the earliest we could see him, next weekend more likely.. obviously there isn't anything set in stone for the public to know, just something Neil Black has said and a couple 'in the know' saying the deals done and he should be here shortly.. We can hope though!
