Enjoyed that. Dominated periods 2 & 3.
That should be us safely into the semi-final I would think.

Game sheet gives goal 1 to Benedict (and so a hattrick), is that wrong? Twitter said Farmer.
Edit - they've changed it.

Cracking result and great to see Benedict and Graham on the scoresheet. Congratulations to Steve Lee as well.
Good luck flogging tickets for the 2nd leg....

Excellent result Panthers especially for the 3rd road game in 4 days. Enjoyed the webcast and the commentary was a bit of a smile too.

Brought the webcast, decent game & did what we had to do, that should be enough to see us through especially at home, thought the 5 d worked well tonight aswell.

Any news on why Berube didn't play? External influences apparently. Some bloke on The Cage Forum whinged about him and given the depth of experience this place has coaching ice hockey teams Corey couldn't ignore it. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) No, I've no idea.

I've come up with a new tactic to figure out Panthers results...... You simply look at the number of posts in the game thread two days later & if there are more than 4 pages than it was a defeat.
The gloom mongers here are notable by their absence obviously.

I explained why I post less after a win on the Blaze game thread and the cats whiskers thread. Nobody seemed to have any comebacks regarding my comments on this year's team within the Coventry thread.

Nobody seemed to have any comebacks regarding my comments on this year's team within the Coventry thread. Exactly right. Generally everybody is singing from the same Him Sheet when the team wins and there's a lot less scope for debate and disagreement. The only exception to this is when a fan from the opposing team joins the debate. When the team looses, an autopsy in to the result follows with scrutinisation into every aspect of the loss from every conceivable angle leading to multiple pages of posts. As you've said, it happens in every sport on their respective forums.
