Nickerson suspended for 4 games.
Seems a lot but he is a repeat offender and really didn't need to get involved in that incident. If he had stopped when asked he might have got away without a suspension at all.
Anyway. That leaves Fife with just 9 imports for tonight and only 1 import D as far as I can tell. Fife
Surely a great chance to kill the tie at the 1st attempt.

I'm really hoping for a win here especially with the short bench but how many times have we had games like this and we just haven't turned up. Still hoping for a win of around 4-1

Tempted to buy the webcast for this, sounds as though it's one of the better ones.
Whilst i remain very hopeful of a decent road performance ('bus legs' permitting) and a victory, my faith in this season's team is by no means a given.
If we're a goal up in the last minute, do Fife pull the netty?

If we're a goal up in the last minute, do Fife pull the netty? Not in a two leg game. If it counted for Championship points as well, then its a whole different kettle of fish.

Good luck to the boys tonight.
A decent win here would put as a long way towards the semi final.

Farmer hat trick! 4 - 0 It was Benedict actually. I wouldn't have to trust the fife commentators if the webcast quality wasn't so poor for me!

Frustrating thing is they can play like this with 2 imports down (admittedly fife are short too) but when it's in the league we lose too often in Scotland!!

You are correct - but I was saying that Flyers have 19 to our 16 - normal squad is 18 or 19 so although they are missing Nickerson they still have 3 more skaters than us
