Has he? He was fine in the grand slam year and was ok until he was slashed last year (but that went on forever). This just seems like a pulled groin from playing sport. Don't think it's a re-occurring injury You may well be right Tom but it's his third injury in 4 years. May not seem like a lot but for a goalie it is imo. Time will tell of course. I think this injury is just down to him overstretching during a save, you see him do the splits quite a lot so i'd put the reason down to that. I think Kowalski has another 5/6 years left in him, he's only 33 and goalies do go on to play into their early 40's sometimes but obviously it al comes down to if he keeps up the good performances. |
