As a vegetarian I won't buy leather, but it seems all hockey gloves have leather palms. Or do they? The product descriptions, either on the labels or on the websites selling them, never mention the word 'leather', yet the palms always feel leather.
Can anyone clear this up, and if the palms are indeed leather, advise whether anyone makes any with non-leather palms? If not, my only option will presumably be to get cheap, street hockey gloves and just replace them often.
Thanks in advance

According to this article on HockeyGiant.com, they usually use synthetic leather rather than the real stuff.
