Can see this one happening now, with no disrespect to the smaller teams I can't see Jade wanting to be stuck playing in round robins with the Scottish teams week in week out. Not sure I'm too happy about this format either, I quite like my trips to Hull etc, I remember a few years back when we only had about 6 teams in the league and it was well boring, same teams every week.

We have Fox who I feel is much better. Yes they are not in the same position but Fox will get just as much points as Jade with half the hassle.

Just need Thommo to move up there as GM and Russ Cowley to sign then it's all of Simmsey's bestest chums under one roof.

"Tait said that while former Nottingham Panthers’ man Galbraith was an inferior skater to Steelers’ playmaker Jeff Legue and had a different style, the pair could be a fine match on the same line." Great way of recruiting right their Tait. Sure fatty Galbraith will love being told how inferior he is

So, are the Steelers the Panther's rejects team now?

Not liking the sound of this at all. They have already signed some quality players and the thought of Galbraith and Legue on the same line!? Surely Galbraith is going to have to lose the extra weight again to keep up with him tho lol!

I do not mind who he signs for aslong as our D-Men are told to hit him hard and wind him up, he will then be ineffective and take stupid penalties

Surely Sheffield is the perfect fit for Galbraith giving his apparent penchant for easy women and low quality drinking holes?
If Sheffield doesn't work out then surely Coventry is the next logical option, or would that be classed as slumming it?

i'd love him to sign for sheff, less ice time than he had last year, playing against a majority of top teams, so less chance for him to be chasing the ref round for points. also the idea of him being pasted into the boards like Fox did last year when he is in a Steelers jersey is even more satisfactory

Twitter rumour: He's on his way to Giants soon.
Hes going to be going to every team in the league before this season starts.
